I selected this place BECAUSE of all of the great reviews and Milo's email responsiveness as well. I chose this place because I didn't want the posh, all-inclusive but rather more of the local flavor. To be brief here are the high lights of Banana Shout: Location is cliffside - beautiful water and sunsets. Not crowded and can sit on...

We are sorry if those guests didn't had a good experience at our Hotel. The guests was in Jamaica just after 2 Hurricanes and during a storm. the ceiling fan was not working and not replaced as yet because all the fan in the shops were finished, the rooms were furnished with standing fan to replace the ceiling ones. First things first: the Water. GORgeous, calm, coral reef, fish, starfish, ENDless snorkel time...feels like the sea is all yours. Be sure to check out an Underwater Sunrise as the morning sun strikes the coral points in the morning. Then hop out to the lawn and have some stout coffee and watch your day begin. Milo, the owner, is a...

My second time to Jamaica. The first time was spent on the beach in Negril. This time I am traveling around the island and my first stop after MoBay was the West End of Negril. I stopped off at Banana Shout for a couple of nights and was really happy I did. I showed up without a reservation and Milo...

This was my second trip to Jamaica (and Negril) and Banana Shout was recommended by OneStop Negril Vacations as a place we'd enjoy in the Cliffs (which we loved). Great recommendation! Beautiful grounds, lush plants and enough attention by a warm, caring staff who were there when we needed anything ("Plug" is a walking saint!) and out of sight to...

I visited the Banana Shout Resort in August and had the time of my life. The views are are amazing, with enormous cliffs literally 10 feet away from you. The room was very nice and spacious, and the entire staff made us feel welcome. The Banana Shout is a must stay if you are coming to Negril. It truly is...

I can not begin to tell you how great this place is. This was my second stay here (12 days), that in itself should tell you how much I LOVE this place. The location is awesome, the sunset from the cliffs is unreal. Banana Shout is adjacent to The World Famous Ricks Cafe. People travel from all over the island...

We stayed at Banana Shout first week of June and it was the perfect spot for some R&R. The Shout may be a small property on the West End of Negril, but it is big in hospitality. I felt that we got the real Jamaican experience and not the pretense of big-chain resorts. We met the nicest people during our...

I been in the Banana Shout Last week and it was really amazing. Big and luminous rooms just in front of the see. If you are a couple, this that's the right place you should go..it's really romantic; but in the same time you can have fun with your friends, it's just a few steps from the Famous Rick's Cafe..and...
