The resort is absolutely beautiful and the the staff are helpful, attentive and professional. My family and I were there celebrating my Mom's Birthday and I must say it was a wonderful experience. Everyone had fun and enjoyed their meal. A big thanks to Yanique for going above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful time. All the staff worked hard and did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend this place for functions, dining or stay.
My husband and I just returned from five days in Negril, Jamaica. This was our 8th trip to Jamaica since 2012 and our fourth stay at the Negril Treehouse from 8/11-8/16. We splurged and stayed in an oceanfront suite. We were not disappointed at all! The room was absolute perfection and directly on the beach. First off, returning to the Treehouse was like returning home to family. I can’t say enough AMAZING things about the staff. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is absolutely perfect—we truly felt like a king and queen. Jackie at reservations—thank you for your patience with us during the madness of Covid and dealing with our travel changes. She made sure we were exactly where we wanted to be and accommodated many date changes. Stacy is my girl and took all my music requests at the bar so I could dance in the pool. She remembered my allergies (melon) every morning and made sure I had a fresh plate of fruit regardless. She makes some gorgeous drinks, too! The number one dirty banana is found at the Tiki Bar at the Treehouse! She’s an absolute sweetheart. Trevor, our driver and good friend, took amazing care of us all around and checking in on us daily to make sure we were well taken care of. Beach security did a great job of keeping hagglers off the property although there were really very few and far between on this trip. The patty guy is still as good as ever! Orville! My maintenance man! I hula hoop all around the world and on my first night there my travel hula hoop snapped in two at the connector. The next morning, my husband asked Orville if he could do anything to help us. If there is a will—they find a way! Orville fixed my hoop for me with a screw and a metal insert! He even made it so I could break it down and bring it back home. I also have to give a shoutout to Jermaine who is our second hand man! Please tell me another resort that goes out of their way like the Tree House does—it doesn’t exist in Negril. The curfew was something to get used to. The beach definitely dies down in liveliness at night but it is perfect for us. A little dark after 8:00 if you are going to walk. Plan dinners in advance would be one suggestion if you’re on curfew when you are there. Sunday curfew is 2:00 PM currently. We didn’t mind it. If gave us more time to sit on our porch and watch the sunset in peace. On the night of our anniversary, we had walked down the beach and it was getting dark. Getting close to the restaurant, we realized that they were closed and the final two miles of beach were dark. We walked back and security from another resort advised us it was safest to go back to our hotel. When we got back to the Treehouse, we told them that everywhere was closed and it was our anniversary. We were hungry at that point. We typically go to Ivan’s but with curfew, they were closed at 6 PM. The Tree House saved the day yet again. They made use jerk chicken wraps and quesadillas with fries and brought it to our room! It was a perfect anniversary night and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. The wrap was delicious. Many updates to the Treehouse over the last two years include re-painted areas, updated rooms, pool cosmetically updated, new shammy towels (I loved these), and Covid compliant updates. I saw all staff in a mask at all times; completely Covid compliant. Sanitizing stations throughout the resort and in all common areas. Our room was cleaned and disinfected once every two days. Plenty of towels in the room. Cold AC to cool down in after a hot day. The suite has stovetop, fridge, and sitting areas, comfy couch—could easily sleep 6 if you needed to. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. For us, this is a 5 star resort. The AIs make their money—Gail does a wonderful thing at the Treehouse where you feel like you are in authentic Jamaica. She hires local staff. If you are looking to be wined and dined in a ritzy titsy hotel, this isn’t it—go to Sandals. For the traveler looking to see the REAL Jamaica, this is the place to stay. Venture out. Go to Best in the West. Go to town. Negril is AMAZING! Outside of our stay at the Treehouse, all in all, Jamaica has IMPROVED. Due to Covid, we hadn’t been since August of 2019. Upon arrival, you could see the efforts Jamaica has put in to decrease the trash around the island. I saw barely any trash on the sides of the road. They placed community trash cans on walking areas. The walking path on the street side of Negril is very safe and clean. I also noticed a huge decrease in the amount of stray animals on the island, something previously that would break my heart. We saw one stray dog the entire time. I am sure this is due to the efforts of the animal shelters on the island, like Montego Bay Animal Haven. Another great improvement for Seven Mile Beach was the removal of the horses on the beach. I know a lot of tourists like to ride the horses but they really are dirty for the beach and were never treated well. It was nice to not see them on the beach this time. Signs are posted around the entire beach and resorts that state that horses on the beach are illegal. Covid testing was super easy. Across the street on the street side of the hotel is the Boardwalk Shopping center. This is also where they have added several stores. No more worrying about if you forgot something! They are three restaurants in this mall strip, covid testing area in the back, a basic pharmacy with brand name face wash, sunscreen, toothpaste—literally if you forget something, you can get it here. They even had a hardware parts store here. A Hi-Lo grocery store is set to open in this plaza within the next several months or so. It’s great to see Jamaica up and coming. I feel like I end my review to the Treehouse every time like this—but—It was one of THE BEST trips to Jamaica yet. We are already planning to come back for Christmas with friends! Trevor, Gail, Jackie, Stacey, Jermaine, Or, EVERYONE—thank you all for everything. Scott and Sara love you all!…
Treehouse is the most chilled spot in Negril. The vibe is always friendly and comfortable. Everyone works to assure that your stay is stress and hassle free. The breakfast is always great. The beachfront is impeccably maintained. The food is good. The drinks are delicious. Most importantly the people are fantastic!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this resort! We had been to Jamaica 2 times before last week, and always stayed in all-inclusive. Tree House is the perfect sized resort to be very close to the beach no matter where your room is located on property. The room was clean and spacious for a family of four. The staff were always willing to go over and above, and were very friendly. The breakfast every morning was cooked to order and delicious, and the lunch/dinners at the beach bar were equally amazing. Not feeling tethered to an all-inclusive made it possible to explore the island and try out several wonderful restaurants. Tree House is our new home when we visit Jamaica, and we can’t wait to go again!
This is a wonderful solid 3-star hotel with breakfast included directly on 7 mile beach. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was good. We didn’t care so much for lunch and dinner at the hotel so opted to eat elsewhere. We rented a family suite with 2 bathrooms which our teenage boys enjoyed. And finally beach chairs + umbrella are complimentary and the location is directly on 7 mile beach. We cooled off in the nice pool and relaxed in the hot tub. There is gift shop, gym and massage parlor available also.
