A surprisingly pleasant stay. Long stretch of clean, beautiful beach. Good food. Good rooms but no minibar. Average service, could be better towards locals. Nice infinity pool but the swim up bar was closed during our stay.
The overall stay was a fantastic. I slept well, food was good (although I had a minor complaint for the last day I was there). Although a family resort it wasn’t too load. Staff was generally pleasant and attended to our every needs. Room was too far from facilities tho.
Strict guidelines to ensure the safety of all guest during the pandemic! Very clean environment! Great accommodation! The entire staff was courteous! Awesome food! I am already planning and looking forward to my next accommodation.
In light of the fact of COVID, it’s obvious that Roy Ocho Rios takes great effort in keeping everyone safe. The staff was super friendly. I have to mention Adrian H. He went over and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. My room door had a problem closing. ( I forgot to mention it before checking out, sorry). However, on one occasion I accidentally left it opened. As a matter of fact, it was the lady cleaning who brought it to my attention. She insisted that we make sure our door is locked when we leave the room. The grounds were immaculate. The acoustics during the entertainment was not very good. We could not understand a lot of what’s being said by many of the entertainers. The dialect was heavy at times. Overall our stay was fantastic.
Went with my husband and toddler. Had an amazing time, except, we were not allowed to take food to our room nor any other area of choice. With only 1 restaurant open-- HELLOOO! COVID! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
