I was in Jamaica for business trip in March 2015 and for couple of days when to Ocho Rios. Choosed this hotel because of good advises there and actually could say that it's a good place to stay with a beautiful view. Not really up...More
Ocho Rios is known as a overpriced, crowded and noisy spot in Jamaica. Hibiscus Lodge was a very pleasant discovery. Since the scenery is absolutely unique, spending your time at the room (not that it's not cozy) or going to tourist packed places is a...More

we walked outside to eat every night, and had dinner at the Almond Tree only one night. There are a lot of locals hanging outside and it may seem very intimidating but no one bothered us at all. Just watch out for cars because they are crazy. I would get yourselves familiar with a map as it might be harder to navigate in thr dark+all the people. We ate at Miss T's which was our favorite restaurant there-- we even tried the jerk grill stands on the street and oh my god they were delicious. the mangos and other fruits were great as well.
