Ah, the Courtyard Kingston. This is my 3rd time staying here and my first review. I actually love it here. Anyone who has spent a day outside in Kingston, knows how wonderful it feels to get back inside your room to a shower and AC. Kingston is hot, hot, hot but the rooms are nice and cool. When my husband comes to Kingston on business, my son and I always tag along. This isn't what you call a family hotel, it is more business oriented but when everyone is out working during the day, the hotel is pretty much empty. I would take advantage of that, and bring my son to the pool almost every day. We stayed for a week, so this was a daily activity. It was perfect, by the time we were done swimming, people would be heading down to the restaurant patio for dinner. Even though there is a sign that says No Lifegaurd, there is a lifegaurd on duty at all times. The pool and our room overlooked Emancipation Park and you could see the mountains in the distance. We would take evening walks in the park to enjoy the breeze. The hotel is well guarded and you always feel safe. What I love about this hotel, is that there are many food options nearby. We didn't feel like eating at the hotel restaurant everyday, so we just walked up Knutsford Blvd and found something we wanted. Kept the cost down as well. Sometimes you just want a patty or some KFC. There is a jerk spot right beside the hotel, don't go too late or they will run out of food. The hotel room itself was spacious and comfortable. It feels like home. They provide a fridge and complimentary wi-fi. The room is clean and the housekeepers are friendly. They made sure we always had water and fresh towels. My only complaint would be the air quality of the room. Since it is carpeted, I would sneeze alot and my nose would be clogged. Some fresh air or air filters would do the room good. Otherwise, I definitely overlooked that and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Would definitely recommend and will be back again.…

Stayed for 2 nights during a business trip to Kingston. Hotel is new, clean, rooms are comfortable, and service was great. There was a proper gym on the 2nd floor, along with a swimming pool. Despite being central, there are not that many places to eat around the business area that it is located. A nice park in front if you want to go for a run outside. Area was safe. This is what you expect from any Courtyard, but the price was $350 USD after taxes and it did not include a simple breakfast. I understand things can be expensive in Kingston, but compared to everything else, it felt quite expensive. I would still go back. Other hotels are around the $200-300 level per night.

Overlooking Emancipation Park, the Courtyard is a basic Marriott property. The rooms and clean and the hotel is quiet. In a city that lacks five star properties, this is a good alternative. Staff are good and there is a pool. Checks all necessary boxes!
