During our three month trip we didn't find a place worse than this one. The owner only seems busy with getting the most out of the least. He offered us a drive from the airport for 30, while 15 is common we later found out. The room smelled very dusty and almost immediately we found a cockroach and lots, lots...

If you are looking to meet some jamaican people in a relaxed and easy way this is the place. Russel is a really friendly and lovely guy who would take you wherever you want. I really enjoyed this place, as it really felt local and jamaican.

I just want to share my experience with Oliver who is owning the place. He is very nice and understanding guy. I didn't get a chance to stay at Durham Hostel as we have changed our travel plans due to personal reasons. He went out of his way and made required adjustments to our reservations. He is awesome person and...

This hostel is a good place to stay. But you have to know that the "dorm" is a tent in a garden. Bring fly dope against the mosquitos! The two brothers who host you are very helpful and have a lot of suggestions what to do. The spacious garden is a good place to relaxe with some chill out areas!

My plans changed and I decided to stay in Kingston for the remainder of my stay. I found this spot for $25 USD per night, shared bath. The location is great, close to everything. Upon arrival I thought I made a bad mistake, this place needs updating in the main house. I was pleased to discover my room was in...

I stayed in the cabin. One queen bed, a chair, a mosquito net and a dresser. Large tents offer a dorm type area for single travelers. They have bigger rooms as well. Great place to relax. Close to the zoo. Close to bus route and street venders. For $30ish US someone will pick you up/drive you to the airport. Cold,...

We stayed first at the outdoor kind of cabins, which were the cheapest. The room looked a bit like a prison cell, and we got bitten by many mosquitos during the night, since the cabin is not very well isolated from outside. Noise isolation was also a problem. Then me moved to the suite which is a king sized bedroom,...

We stayed here at the suggestion of a friend. It is in a very safe neighborhood and is a great value for Kingston. The owner drove me to the airport at 4 am for a very good price (I think it was $30USD) and after checking in, they upgraded our room for free from a tiny room to a full...

“The smallest room can be booked online very cheaply and is basically just a bed in a room, but there is a lot of common space and gardens to hang out and relax in.”
