We spent our 2 first nights in Guadeloupe in this hotel. We arrived late in the evening and have been warmly welcomed which was appreciated. After a first night in a very comfortable bed we enjoyed a great breakfast made of fresh products including homemade marmelade. We could experience each day new fruits and this was a real experience. We also had our best planteur of the Island. The swimming pool is a plus, nicely refreshing. Each room has its own terrace and enjoys intimacy. The whole place is quiet. The exotic garden around with some animals (bird, frogs) and their noise is really a must. Some parts are a bit aging but it doesn't affect the stay. As said, the owners are very welcoming and share valuable advices. Great value.
Located near the golf course and within walking distance of the town. Our hosts were very knowledgable about the local area and recommended some small unspoilt beaches with few people. The hotel is well set out with just 7 rooms facing the pool. Our only criticisms focus on essential maintenance required to the pool and our patio door which was difficult to secure. May I suggest coffee making facilities in the entrance area would be welcome. Beware of the Gendarmes in town (Best to walk). I was tested but thankfully OK.
Quiet surroundings and very friendly atmosphere with great staff. Perfect breakfast with daily fresh fruits . Advise to book direct for best deals and not via the so called independent hotel providers . Car recommended. Walk to saint Francois is approx. 20 minutes.
Located next to the golf course at St Francois, this little gem is a perfect hide-away for couples who are looking for some quite days away from it all - yet very close to the many good restaurants of St. Francois. The boutique hotel has only 7 cosy rooms grouped around a pretty swimming pool, facing a lush parc. The rooms with their private terraces are cosy, the service is warm and friendly and the breakfast is heavenly.
The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Fabienne especially was so sweet in calling all over to try and get us dinner reservations, just for the 2 nights we stayed there. Everything is so clean and Fabienne did the daily room attendance. The pool was fantastic - relatively large, clean and cool. The first morning I passed on breakfast due to the 14 euro cost, but walking into town yielded a good breakfast, but a long wait and 10 euro cost for a full (American) breakfast. The second morning, I was thrilled to have their "tropical" breakfast, that was delicious rich coffee, orange juice, 5 different fruits, and a basket of bread and croissants with butter and tamarind preserves. And this was served whenever we came out of our room and sat at the table on the patio just outside of our room. The room size was great, with chairs both inside and out, and the bathroom had great size and counter space, as well as plenty of hot water with good pressure. A small refrigerator was nice to have, also. Location is excellent - only a short distance from all the bustle of St. Francois, but still having all the amenities closely available.…
