The staff is particularly friendly and helpful. Our bungalow was clean, tidy and very comfortable. We have good friends whose flight was canceled, so we invited them to stay with us in the extra bedroom. They loved the hotel. We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice of hotel.

Nice lodges, good atmosphere and good pool. All clean, helpful staff/owners. Great to have breakfast everyday. There’s variety in breakfast, but if you decide not to take eggs at eg. day one, it’s possible that during your stay eggs will not be served anymore on other days. To my opinion they could deal a little bit more with the specialties.
Owners provide you great service of ordering snacks, water, beer or wine! The lodge also offers you a BBQ. Perfect!

I have been to more than 70 countries on all continents and Domaine Saint Francois is one of the best places I have stayed at, especially considering what you pay. The Domaine is a beautiful oasis 10 minutes from Saint Francois and the bungalows and the garden and pool are all very well maintained. Aurore and Greg are amazing housekeepers working long hours and always with a smile. Breakfast is great and served poolside. The only negative is that Guadeloupe is bigger than we thought so if you plan to stay for more than a couple of days and visit Basse Terre several times I would recommend to divide the stay between Domaine Saint Francois and a hotel on Basse Terre.

We had a great holiday at Domaine St Francois and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. It’s beautifully kept with spacious natural wood bungalows, well spaced, set in delightful tropical gardens. The bungalows have comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchens and roomy private terraces complete with dining table and chairs and hammock chairs for lazing. There’s a large pool for guests and delicious breakfasts. We were very sad to miss the Creole night, as we arrived the day after and left the morning before. It would be good if the hotel specified which night is the Creole night on their website as we would have booked our dates accordingly so as not to miss it. Aurora is an absolutely charming hostess.

We had a great time at the Domaine! Aurore and Greg are very nice, professionals and we felt very welcomed and very well attended!
Breakfasts are great and they put a lot of efforts to vary them everyday. We had a great time at the Creole night they try to organize each week and it was very nice to share this time with the other guests of the domain. You feel great and our appartment was spacious. The Domaine is very calm and it is great to spend time to relax, and enjoy the beautiful garden too. Our daughter of 4 was also welcomed and she enjoyed the swimming pool and slept very well :-)

Very good place to stay in Grande Terre, we stayed there 10 days in family. the domaine is very nice, it is human size so you feel like at home. We experienced 2 studios and both were well decorated with everything you need. We apreciated the possibility to order diner.

The cottages are nice, clean, well furnished, with a functional kitchen, very private. Dont worry about breakfast, it is served by the pool. The owners are very nice people, helpful, available. We enjoyed the garden, the pool and liked being independant.

This place is a great option if you want privacy and totally flexibility. Each Balinese-style cottage comes with a functional kitchen area, TV, bedroom, bathroom and lovely outdoor shower. Fantastic shower pressure and hot water! Kitchen is equipped with all the right basics, and a lovely outdoor front porch/deck with table to eat at. Grounds are lovely, and there's a pool for guests too. The owner/operator just leaves you to enjoy and it's a very reasonable nightly rate, considering how expensive Guadeloupe is at Christmas/in-season time. My only complaint was the noise - lots of roosters running around that like to tell you they're there at all times in the night, as well as the morning. Also, would be nice to have a light blanket or additional cover for the bed - personally not used to having a single cotton sheet.

This is a fantastic residence. We stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments 'Colibri' which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed a few themes over our stay, we also enjoyed the Creole evening.The pool area was immaculate.
We had a great welcome from the owners who spoke excellent English and they allow guests to continue to use the pool area and a bathroom if they are catching a late flight which is always really helpful.
I highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

Bonjour Pauline, oui pour votre bébé, nous vous fournissons un it bébé pliant, le linge de lit, une chaise haute pour votre logement et également pour le petit déjeuner en bord de piscine. concernant les repas du soir, ils sont principalement livrés à votre logements et les tarifs adultes sont à partir de 12 euros le plat, fait maison avec des produits locaux. N'hésitez pas à regarder sur notre site les disponibilités ou nous contacter au 0690 49 53 43, concernant les mesures sanitaires, tout refonctionne à partir du 8 octobre, il faut simplement le pass-sanitaire. Comme vous pouvez le lire sur notre site, celui du Domaine Saint François, le 1er petit déjeuner est offert à partir d'une semaine de location.
Mais vous avez toujours une bouteille d'eau dans le réfrigérateur, du café, thé et chocolat et des fruits du jardin si il y en a à cette période.

Vous avez bien sûr la possibilité de vous passer de voiture, mais en même temps vous allez passer à côté de beaucoup de choses.
L'île est grande et belle à découvrir, (forêt tropicale, cascades, plages, sorties, etc...)
Vous pouvez louer une voiture à l'aéroport et ensuite venir avec votre véhicule de location au domaine, ou payer un transfert (qui vous coûtera environ 1,5 journée de location de voiture à l'aller et autant au retour).
Vous trouverez des loueurs de voitures sur le site avec un code promo.
Je vous proposerai pas mal de'excursions lors de votre venue, pas de souci.

Les sargasses viennent du Brésil , donc on ne peut pas gérer leur venue. Ceci dit les plages municipales sont nettoyées tous les jours et une partie des plages de la Guadeloupe ne sera jamais touchée, car protégée naturellement.
Moralité, pas vraiment d'inquiétude pour se faire plaisir pendant l'hiver en Métropole...
