Good morning,
we were very satisfied with our vacation, the location is very pleasant, ideal for a family with 3 children. WIFI in the room worked without problems, hot water in the shower too (I read somewhere that it didn't work). The staff is very very helpful.

The food in the main restaurant is good, always about 4 types of main dishes and 3 side dishes (lunch and dinner). Then, of course, lots of desserts (although probably most semi-finished products), fruits, etc. Not always open for lunch (which isn't really surprising since when it was open there were 10 of us at most), but there is a bar nearby that makes up for it with classic pizzas and other things from the same kind.

The sea is shallow and gradual, therefore ideal for children, for adults more just to cool off, the swimming pool also large and very clean.

There is a small shop that sells basic things and there is also a public washing machine and tumble dryer on site. Rooms are equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave and tableware.

We enjoyed our vacation and were happy.

The hotel is located far away (about 8 km from Sainte Anne and 16 km from St François). There is a restaurant 500 m, 1 km from the hotel. It is calm at any time of the day and punctuated by the song of toads and cicadas.
* The spacious room with a kitchenette on the balcony and with air conditioning that works a little too well!! Housekeeping and linen (bed and bathroom) are changed every 4 days, which means it's about time with the smell of humidity... a little limited for my taste! The pressure and hot water was a real problem 4 evenings out of 10, resolved after a few days, the management was responsive to the various negative points.
* The restaurant nothing to say, a copious breakfast (delicious pastries) varied, sweet and savory, possibility of making a real citrus juice, a pure delight! In the evening, varied starters and desserts and main courses, 3 choices which change every evening.
*The swimming pool secured by a fence is pleasant between the sea, the restaurant and the reception with enough deckchairs. In the afternoon there is no shade despite the parasols and palm trees. The swimming pool has a slight slope to reach a maximum depth of 1m55 which is great if there were aquatic activities!
I find it a shame that there are no activities during the day or not at the time indicated on the schedule (aquagym class scheduled for 8:30 a.m. and which took place at 11:30 a.m.) and in the evening, the activities when there were some that weren't exciting and didn't make you want to stay, it's a shame!!
* The parking lot is far too small for all the rental cars. Returning from an excursion after 5-5:30 p.m. is a real nightmare to park! The parking lot should be redone with, among other things, ground markings to prevent certain cars from parking haphazardly!

Like other Pierre et vacances sites, there is a cleanliness problem. It's not clean, dust on the furniture, in the corners, the bathroom not clean and in need of renovation and then a persistent smell of pipes. The studio is large enough, on the ground floor with a kitchenette on the terrace. Sea view and pretty park. The paths need to be repaired, many broken and loose slabs. The breakfast in the morning is OK even if it's a bit like a cafeteria during rush hour. 2 large black dots. The site is far from the center of Ste Anne and is perhaps even closer to St François but therefore nothing around. And if you want to eat there it's 35 euros per person and it's low-end community cuisine. Even rosé is bad. 2nd point is parking because even if you have the cezame to get back it's a hassle. No place after 7 p.m., there are more cars than spaces and as a result it's a nameless mess.

Village all uphill. We were very far from the reception and the restaurant (Bougainvillées residence: long climb to reach without help to bring the luggage). Not suitable for people with walking difficulties. The village is far from everything. Essential car. Possibility to rent at the hotel. Having neglected to request accommodation upstairs when booking, we were able to change 2 days later for a €25 cleaning fee. We hadn't used anything and hadn't opened our suitcases. We therefore find that this is exaggerated, this service having been offered to us much more quickly in other places. As we were at fault, we will not comment further. The reception staff are not pleasant or helpful. For our departure in the rain at 6 a.m., the receptionist insisted that we go get the beach towels left in the apartment. Luckily our taxi arrived and we were able to leave. The day before we had asked if a takeaway breakfast was possible. We had to come back later and ask at the restaurant... However, we salute the friendliness of the restaurant staff as well as the snack bar. It's a shame that the snack bar doesn't offer more choice in the evening (only pizza or sausage or minced steak/fries). As for catering, we had breakfast. No complaints. A lot of choices. Excellent artisanal local fruit jams, possibility of making juices.
Accommodation wise: pretty decent. Equipped outdoor kitchen (small microwave, hotplates, dishwasher). We had an ant nest on the balcony but it should be noted that the accommodation is currently being renovated.
Only one restaurant nearby outside the village which does take-away sales (not tested)

A large, sprawling property with many steps and steep grade walking paths. No bellman to help with luggage up all the stairs. The sleeping room needed updating, bed was rock hard. The outdoor kitchenette was unique and set up for 3 people, but had an ant problem. The pool area was very nice with a pool bar/restuarant with sandwhiches, pizzas, soft drinks, beer and wine. The real downfall for us, we don't speak French, and they speak very little English. Google Translator was our saviour. The island is beautiful.

I would like to express our deep disappointment following our stay at Pierre et Vacances. As soon as we arrived we were faced with major problems as the reserved room was already occupied by another family. Although we were urgently moved to another room, the hotel was in the middle of renovations, the painting had just been completed, but the furniture was missing, limited to a bed and a wardrobe.

The phone in the room didn't work, and our stay was made even more complicated by a storm, resulting in no catering at all. Despite the director's assurances about the availability of meals, we noticed that nothing was really planned. We were forgotten on several occasions, without breakfast or evening meals, forcing repeated requests each time.

The condition of the complex in no way corresponded to the heavenly images presented when we booked. If anything, it looked more like a dump than a place to relax. We would like to point out the lack of management and care on the part of management.

As compensation, an offer of €16 per day was made to us, which in no way compensates for the inconvenience encountered.

Thank you Pierre and Vacance

On paper the residence had everything to please but we were very disappointed. Residence supposedly renovated but where everything remains to be done. Aging room and bathroom as well. Nice park though but the paths to move around really need to be redone because there is a significant risk of falling in places.
Concerning the swimming pool and the beach, get up early for a deckchair, they are almost non-existent. However, given the size of the establishment there should be 3 times more. Housekeeping and change of beach towel every 3 days. Kitchen with dishwasher but no sponge or dishwashing liquid provided (unlike many establishments). The pool liner is no longer welded in many places. Parking far too small for the number of customers.
The positive points are the breakfast which is good and plentiful, the location and the staff who are pleasant. Bad value for money, I do not recommend this establishment. Really needs a facelift.

Stay in a studio for 1 week. Studio very far from everything with suitcases it was very difficult because there are hills and steps to access the parking lot. The building next to ours was under renovation and abandoned. We had seen pieces of wood and tarpaulins.

Unrenovated studio in a dilapidated and dirty state. Dirty sheets with stains of all kinds and hairs.
When we went to bed at 9 p.m. we realized there was no telephone in the room and reception was unreachable. A 5-minute walk to reach reception and we were told that someone would come by in 1 hour max to give us sheets. At 10 p.m. a gentleman comes by and tells us that he doesn't have enough to completely change the bed. We just added a sheet on top of the dirty sheets and that's it...
The outdoor kitchen was in deplorable condition. Ant nest bat droppings. Half-broken cupboards.

Very minimalist cleaning on arrival. The towels were changed once in 8 days but not the bath mat which was soaked because the bathroom was damp without ventilation.

I actually think you should ask for an upstairs apartment.

Few deckchairs, all taken at 8 a.m.

Restaurant le baloua permanently closed since then? We'll never know. The beach at this restaurant is beautiful but the same problem with the deckchair.
There is indeed sargassum but like all the beaches of Guadeloupe and not every day.

Broken tiles around the pool. Pool coating peeling off. It's dirty like everything else.

Breakfast for 20€ which we did not try given the price.

Overall disappointment with this stay. Fortunately we didn't pay very much but we didn't feel good in our accommodation. We must prioritize housing for individuals who live there all year round and which are very well appointed and clean. We saw the difference with our neighbors.

The overall view of the village is beautiful but the dirt will remain in our minds. We will not come back.

The Village Pierre et vacances is located in a very pretty green setting over several hectares. With very beautiful plantings. Take a walk and smell the sweet scent of Frangipagnier. The village has 2 swimming pools, 2 beaches, a main restaurant and 2 beach restaurants and a snack bar. A mini market. Activities, a children's club during school holidays. Points to improve very quickly and which are very easy to implement: increase the number of deckchairs for the 2 swimming pools and the 2 beaches! The Tamarins swimming pool only has 12 deckchairs, on one beach 22 and the other 30; the main swimming pool has around fifty deckchairs! (Yet we see deckchairs stacked in one of the reserves near the parking lots, why not put them there?) In short, a hundred deckchairs for such a structure is a shame because there are a lot of customers without deckchairs. Especially when it comes to long weekends or when there are Day-pass customers who come to spend the day. Another point to improve is the parking lots which quickly become saturated. Reorganize the parking lots - put markings on the ground to optimize the placement of customers because very often at the back of the aisles the spaces are used by a car which takes up 2 spaces,
Removing the recycling center container and the containers in the 2nd parking lot will free up space. Prevent very large vehicles that take up 2 spaces from entering. A renovation of the swimming pools is expected soon.

Stay in a studio in March 2024
Negative points :

- Cockroaches in the studio of any size
- No porter, just a room to store suitcases knowing that the village is very large, sloping and with stairs.
- Parking almost permanently saturated
- Tourist factory, very large complex
- Severe lack of deckchairs, some are in poor condition, broken at the seat at the beach
- Lack of maintenance of the club, outdated
- Restriction on toilet paper
- Sargassum not collected (well if after 6 days during our stay)
- Cockroach crushed on the ground near the restaurant which fed the ants, remained there for 2 days...
- Lack of explanations at reception
- Poor management of restaurant staff
- 1 of the 2 beaches is only used to unclog the other. Difficult to find shade, too many people
- Bed linen that smells of damp just like the furniture. Feeling like you're sleeping in a cellar.
- Work on the main beach in the beach restaurant (Jigsaw, etc.)
- Between 8:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. no technician so it is better not to have a problem because no intervention possible
- Completely isolated center
- Outdoor kitchen with ant nest and droppings of all kinds
- Late check-out impossible if your studio is taken over during the day
- Very expensive supermarket - Car rental on site, be careful there are very few cars to rent from Jumbo Car

Good points :
- Garden
- Buildings with Creole-style architecture, pleasant setting
- Direct access to the beach
- Varied breakfast

In conclusion: catastrophic quality/price ratio and almost non-existent customer service
