On arriving at the hotel on a midweek break, we were given the key to room 7. What a wonderful start to our break. A large spacious room with great views over the country side. The quality of the food was excellent and the drinks prices were the same has at the local pubs. Every one of the staff were...

Checked in to our nice room. 20 mins later knock at the door the receptionist had put us in the wrong room so after repacking our belongings we were ushered to a smaller room this had worse furniture than an unemployed friends house. Complimentary drink would of been nice, no chance of that. Anyway had an early night cause the...

We had three rooms and all were different. They all had their own standout features - Room 9 had two easy chairs and a huge flat screen TV; Room 8 had the best shower and Room 3, a four poster bed. This is no chain hotel where every room is the same which adds to its charm! The views from...

Room 7, spacious, comfortable, sitting area, possibly the best room in the hotel. All good except the water in the shower was a dribble on the second shower and the windows were "blown" due to water ingress and need replacing, otherwise the view was excellent. Very countryside located and rural for so close to the seaside. About 7 miles to...

We visited the Ty Glyn for one night before graduation at Aberystwyth University. We couldn't praise the staff more highly. They really made us feel welcome. We had cream tea on arrival which was a lovely start to our stay. The rooms had beautiful views and were very comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast was excellent.

We visited Ty Glyn a week or so back. We couldn't praise the staff more highly. They were a very helpful, chatty crew and were the hotel's strongest point. All food was of top quality and attractively presented and the position of the hotel was peaceful in a most attractive setting. The bedroom we had was large with a very...

We have stayed in this hotel twice and are staying again in July. Lampeter had few hotels, two awful, and one, The Falcondale, is v v expensive. We wanted a good value, clean friendly hotel to stay in without breaking the bank. This place does it. It is officially a restaurant with rooms. Breakfast is excellent. Continental if the hotel...

We stayed this month for 3 nights. Throughout the stay the service was friendly and professional. Our room was very comfortable, roomy and clean with excellent shower. The views overlooking the back of the hotel were absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was very good as was our meal in the restaurant. I suffer from coeliac disease and the staff seemed to have...

A beautiful oasis of calm in the west Wales countryside. Our room at the back of the hotel gave us lovely views of the garden and surrounding countryside and we spent a weekend uninterrupted by 'normal' life. Great for access to some beautiful spots in Cardigan Bay, none more beautiful perhaps than the small seaside town of New Quay and...
