What a fun resort with an amazing staff!!! E-Team makes each day awesome! Diva, Nicol, Mr Cappuccino, Cat, Chicken Legs, and RedBull are so friendly and chat with all of the guests. Manuel was an excellenté concierge making sure we had everything we needed. The beach staff is also so friendly! Ros, Fresa and Yoke are always nearby with quick service! Rrrrrrrramon at the Rendezvous Bar is fantastic- he has entertained us quite a bit. Thank you for the wonderful food, safe clean everything - we felt very safe with your safety measures! Can’t wait for our next trip back “home” Secrets is the best!!! 💜💜💜

We loved the ascetics of the resort, it was clean and well maintained. Beautiful view. The food and food service was disappointing. We went for a wedding, and the resort did a great job with the wedding!

I can’t say enough about the amazing vacation we had in Punta Cana at Secrets Cap Cana! Starting with service- From the minute we arrived, our dedicated concierge, Carlos Javier made sure we were treated like royalty!! This trip was a celebration of 3 birthdays and a last minute intimate wedding ceremony and Carlos did everything to make each celebration/occasion something that we will remember forever. He was always available and willing to help, when we would text him. He made sure to stop by and say hello throughout the day, and he went the extra mile to ensure everything went off without a hitch. Carlos helped me pull together a last minute wedding ceremony for my best friends, with 24 hours notice, when he could have easily told me I’m crazy and kick rocks. In addition to our amazing Carlos, our pool/bar staff were FANTASTIC and made sure the drinks were flowing and the fun never stopped. Madelin, Fidelina, and Stefani continuously checked on us, brought fresh buckets of ice, remembered our drink orders every day, greeted us and every other regular at that section of the pool, by name, and danced and sang with us, like friends! We never went thirsty or hungry haha! Diva and the rest of the entertainment staff were the cherry on top every day. Live entertainment on the beach and in the middle of the pool, nightly shows and live music and singing in the lobby, where the party continued after the nightly shows. And last but certainly not least, the food!! I’ve been to many all inclusive resorts and the food is always hit or miss...well, Secrets Cap Cana was a HIT at all the restaurants. Breakfast at Oceana and Market Cafe 10/10! Lunch by the pool or seaside grill or Rosewater...10/10, and then all the restaurants for dinner! We didn’t have one bad meal and they made every restaurant a unique experience like you are stepping into another country every night for dinner.

This resort was the most beautiful that I have ever been to in my life. I have been to other Secrets resorts in Mexico but this one took the cake. The layout and sheer beauty of the location was breathtaking. We encountered some wonderful people and made lifelong friends during our week in paradise. The only regret I have is not getting off the resort more to see more of the Dominican Republic. Pros: - Clean rooms, restaurants, pools, beach, common areas, etc. - Due to the reduced capacity there was no shortage of chairs at the beach or pool or tables at the restaurants. - Nightly Shows - Some were definitely better than others but they have some real talent. We enjoyed The Greatest Showman best of them all. - Preferred Club Drinks - I am a vodka martini drinker and was so grateful for the preferred club. I wasn't able to find a good martini away from that lounge. - Spaciousness of the room was impressive. It's nice to have a large space to sprawl out event though we didn't spend a ton of time in the room. We were able to unpack and have our things on hand without making the room feel too cluttered. - Most importantly...the resort staff: *Jorge our butler: Attentive without being invasive. He was grateful and appreciative of every thank you we had to offer. I highly recommend requesting him if planning a stay in the preferred area. *Diva from the Entertainment Crew: She pulled me and 2 friends out of the pool in the first 10 minutes of arriving and had us doing a cocktail tasting/class at the pool bar. She sought us out after a few days off at home with her family when she arrived back at the resort and made sure we had enjoyed our time while she was away. She was an absolute blast and even got my boyfriend to salsa dance at her poolside class! *Kay at the Lobby Bar: I traveled with a group of 22 and we looked forward to meeting up at the end of each day after we all paired off and did our respective activities and sharing our adventures. Kay came right over as each of us trickled in and brought everything we asked for with a smile...even if that meant 22 Cha Cha Cha shots! Her trusty back up Scarlen was always there to help if Kay was with other guests too! We were never left unattended or with an empty glass. *Melvin, Esther, and Dania at the CoCo Cafe: After a long night at Roundezvous, it was an absolute joy to be greeted by the best three baristas in the DR. They made every coffee and latte with care and heart. They were a smiling face when mornings started a little later and slower than usual. CoCo Cafe was our first stop every morning when we rolled out of bed. *Madeline at the Market Cafe Buffet: My boyfriend is normally not a breakfast eater but will compromise on vacation. The only thing he ever wants though is a bagel with peanut butter and a banana. Madeline helped him navigate the buffet and find all of his special requests. *Carlos C and Carlito at Hibachi: Carlos C was our server on our two stops at Hitmasu. The first time was with our large group for table service where he serenaded us and got the whole group in on a sing a long. The second time was when a smaller group of us came for Hibachi. We sang a little less but drinks were refreshed and every plate was served and cleared without us having to ask for anything. Carlito was our Hibachi Chef who put on a phenomenal show. He was interactive and exciting to watch while making us laugh so hard our stomachs hurt. Cons: - Oddly enough a lock of waste baskets in common areas both indoors and outdoors. - Inconsistency with some of the dining. We were told by some of our group that there meals at specific restaurants were the best of their trip however we experienced long waits for our food and drinks to be served. Once the food arrived it was not correct and one even had an allergy issue. Luckily we caught that before our friend dug in. At another dinner we were made to feel like an inconvenience for ordering a few of the appetizers rather than an entrée. - Noise in the morning: I don't normally sleep late but on vacation I hoped to catch up on some much needed rest. I think because of our room location (ground floor swim out) being the second room from the entrance, we were on a throughway for dining carts and cleaning services. It started before 8am each morning. Not much anyone can do about that but something to consider if you book a swim out. Overall I was thrilled. I would definitely see myself going back and hopefully reconnecting with a few friends I made while there. I'd like to get off the resort and see more of the real Dominican Republic but if you're looking a perfect oasis away from it all this is your place!

We loved this resort. The food at every restaurant was delicious. We at all the restaurants except the French and had delicious food. The service was top notch. We were at the beach everyday and got excellent service from Jasmin she was so attentive and sweet!!! The drinks were always good. Entertainment at the lounge was a nice variety. We were preferred and stayed at our pool so we never saw the daytime entertainment. The beach is very large and there were always chairs. There are parts that have seaweed. We had Carlos in the preferred lounge bartender and his expresso martinis would fabulous. We upcharged lobster at the Oceana restaurant and it was fabulous - thank you Michael. WE will definelty be back!!!
