We went there for the second straight season and stayed there slightly more then a week. Food was very decent and slightly downshifted from the previous year, but always fresh; plentiful restaurants with good service and some restaurants were still on the top - LaBoheme was our favorite one. There was a disappointment with Capricho restaurant as it seemed like loosing it's management's grip. Transportation in the hotel was very good: anywhere you need to go, the driver will stop, pick you up and deliver where you need to be. Friendly and very accommodating staff. Daily and nightly performances were good. My favorite butler-Norris (not sure if I can pronounce her name correctly) was like a mom to us. Responding in 5 minutes when any kind of help was needed; and she was very accommodating, making arrangements with her was a breeze.…
My husband and I have traveled to TRS 4 times and the first 3 times we loved it. The rooms were clean and nice, the staff was very friendly, there were many restaurant and food options, the drinks were top shelf, the beaches were beautiful ..... but we had a very bad experience this last trip. My husband and I both ate a salad for dinner at one of the buffets and both became very ill. My husband recovered after a day but I got worse. I was taken by ambulance to a local hospital and spent 2 days there. My lab work showed that I had an intestinal bacterial infection. I understand that these things can happen but the resort refused to take any responsibility for it. They insinuated that we were just not used to their climate, drank to much, or ate unfamiliar foods. None of that was the case. Our vacation was ruined, we incurred thousands of dollars in hospital bills and I was ill for a week after returning home. We really just wanted TRS to admit that they were at fault but they were totally unwilling to take any responsibility and they treated us as if we were idiots. We were loyal customers that will not travel there again.…
This was one of the best resorts I have stayed at. The staff add so much to the quality of your stay. The pool staff and main bar staff were fantastic and will be a key factor for a return visit. Rooms were very spacious and well equpped (500 block) Cleaned every day and included a turn down service every night. Food choice was plentyful and catered for everyone. Entertainment was great , Chic Caberet is a must for anyone visiting this resort . We WILL be returing !!
We arrived on the 12th March 2020 for 2 weeks, only to have it cut short and had to be evacuated on the 19th due to the Coronavirus. What time we spent there was amazing. beautiful Junior Suite and fantastic pools and beaches. We got to talk to 3 lovely couples on the last fews days and i wish i got some contact details to stay in touch :(. Once all this madness thats going on in the world is over , we will definitely be rebooking as soon as the travel agents are back up and running. This was our second visit to the TRS , hopefully third time lucky .
I visited TRS Oct/19. From the moment I arrived I was delighted with the hotel services and personnel. Especially with Judy, the lady in charge of my section. Also with Kevin who keep my glass full every time I went by the pool. I have a great appreciation for the reception guy that help me with my travel agency and did a great effort to solve the problem with my reservation.
