One of the best hotels we've stayed at. Service was teriffic, the resturant was wonderful. We had the ulimate package which included being greeted at the airport, dinner on the beach, and messages for both of us, a little over the top but it was worth it! Small intimate setting. No need to run out to stake your claim on...

Where do we start, how about never wanting it to end. Greeted by wonderfully friendly staff, and an ice cold drink. The hotel lobby beautiful and inviting with a peek of the out of this world restaurant "Lucia" where we ate the first night. The food was amazing, breakfast, lunch or dinner!! We felt so comfortable everywhere we went, our...

We stayed at the Casa Colonial for our 30th anniversary trip and it could not have been more perfect. The hotel exudes colonial charm from the physical structure to the attentive yet unobtrusive service. We were greeted upon arrival by the concierge, Israel Coronado, and offered a drink even before he had begun to check us in. He then gave...

My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend at the Casa Colonial and cannot say enough about it! The grounds are beautiful, very intimiate, styled in an old world colonial home. They keep the grounds immaculate and the rooms are fantastic. The best part of the hotel is the staff. The are so warm and welcoming and quick to...

My husband and I did a lot of research when we decided we wanted to travel to the Caribbean to get away before the birth of our first child. We settled on the Casa Colonial after reading all the fantastic reviews about the property and seeing all the amazing pictures online. When we arrived to the Casa Colonial, we were...

My husband and I had heard wonderful things about this property and with such a quick flight offered from New York decided to spend several days there with friends. Our high expectations were surpassed in all areas. Our first surprise occurred as we drove up to the front of the hotel over a cobbled carpark very reminiscent of those sometimes...

I stayed here with a friend for almost a week. It was a very peaceful and quiet location. I needed a break from work and this was the perfect escape. We used the pool more than the beach as the sand was darker on the beach and not as appealing but we loved the pool area. The food at the...

From the moment we arrived we felt pampered. We were ushered into comfortable seats, and offered complementary cocktails during our brief wait to sign in. Throughout our stay the staff was accommodating and cordial. The food was well prepared, excellent. The hotel was quiet and peaceful, and the beach equally so. There were plenty of lounges on the beach, and...

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Set off from the all inclusives, the food at the hotel was great. Breakfast- eggs benedict- amazing. Lunch was always just ok for us. Dinner at Lucia- highly recommend gnochi, chilean sea bass, lamb chops. Everyone is extremely pleasant and helpful. The beach section in front of casa colonial is nice,...

Sunday I returned from my first trip to PP and Casa Colonial. I have traveled extensively in the DR and MX but typically (not always) go all inclusive. I was on this trip with 3 business associates but I consider them all friends as well. Our entire trip was booked through the resort other than air. They did a great...
