They did a wonderful job navigating cleanliness and social distancing protocols while still ensuring adequate activities, dining, drinks, music, shows, beach/pool and entertainment were available. The staff are super hard working, professional and friendly as well. The apartments were large and even had outdoor space. My friends want to return with me!
I cannot express the service we received from everyone, especially from Anabel and Jordi. They were amazing. They greeted us better than family. We had such an amazing time at the resort. Anabel and Jordi did everything for us. If we needed assistance with anythng they were so happy to help us. We cannot wait to return. I'm Still in the hotel as I write this actually wishing to go back to the snow. Fiest of all the pics on their site or evwn on Jetblue's vacation site were NOTHING like the acrual rooms. A complete bait and switch and absolute false advertising Had to fight it out with managenent to get Switched to a bigger room that somewhat resembled what I paid for. Still not even close. They told me the rooms pictured on their site were members only rooms which was a lie. I pulled up the website which clearly allows those same rooms to be booked directly. Service is beyond terrible. This place caters to members and treats everyone else like second class citizens. This place is huge due to it consisting of basically 5 or so hotels. Some of these hotels and rooms are at motel prices which is why you'll see rowdy locals all over the place coming to drink, smoke and party. Unfortunately its hard to avoid since you have to take these little buses to get anywhere and you can't avoid the crowds on the buses. Definitely not a family environment at all. And speaking of crowds, there is NO crowd control at the buffets. How they haven't been shut down because of Covid-19 restrictions is beyond me. People are shoulder to shoulder at the buffets and no one is respecting 6 feet of space. Buffet food is being served by staff but its not protected by any glass of any sort so people are still hovering over the trays of food as they pass by. Half the restaurants are closed so everyone crowds up at the only 2 available buffets for dinner. The service? Where do I begin. I've never had staff seem so careless in all my travels. Never have I encountered so much rudeness not only at restaurants but by front desk and even the cleaning staff. Its as if they're used to dealing with the rowdy locals and unfortunately deal with foreigners the same way. Sounds silly, but trust me it's true. We asked for an iron once that was missing since we were moved into the new room and the lady had the nerve to say that it was "strange" that it was missing insinuating we took it. She then proceeded to go through our closet filled with our personal belongings to confirm. Then called her supervisor who came and did the same! Never have I ever been made to feel like a thief at an all inclusive resort in my life. Unreal. This is the longest review ive ever written and I truly hope this keeps people from coming here. Spent another week in paradise. Love the trip. This resort is beautiful. Staff is always pleasant and willing to help with anything. Anna, at Residence Suites was once again above and beyond with her assistance. Thank you!
I’m a very low level member at LHVC. Spent a week at the Residence Suites in late February with my girlfriend and her daughter who is 18. We had a two bedroom that had a living area, bedroom, and bathroom downstairs and bedroom upstairs. There were balconies on both floors. King beds in both bedrooms. Only tv was in living area. Unit was a little dated but nice. Not much of a kitchen but who needs one at an all-inclusive. Plenty of hot water but shower head kept falling unless it was used as a hand held. Walls were a little thin. We could hear the neighbors talk in the evening while we were getting ready for dinner but it was very quiet at night in that area of the resort. We were disappointed to find that Serenity Beach was closed and that NV Beach was much smaller than it used to be but we still had a great time at Harmony Beach. We were also a little disappointed at first that with my membership we were assigned a restaurant each night. However, we were happy with their selections (pleasantly surprised to get the gourmet restaurant twice). Times were a little later than we would have liked but we were able to get in earlier than scheduled most nights. As always, Ricardo at the Presidential Suites Bar provided excellent service and was very entertaining. We are looking forward to our next trip to LHVC. …
