This hotel is located in a great place directly to the city of Puerto plata Very nice to spend 2 or 3 days but not more then that ... The staff are friendly, a little parking and the place is clean There is a small restaurant but is always quiet
I stayed there last year sometime and it is a nice hotel. The rooms are well equipped. There is always hot water to shower and most importantly food, there is a perfect restaurant located on the property.
We are from Santiago and we wanted to have a little fun weekend so we went to Puerto Plata, we were looking for something monetary attractive and nice at the same time so we found this hotel online. It was very nice and the person at the front desk too. The room was okay, the restaurant that they have is good and the drinks as weel. Overall it was a nice stay.
It is a place to sleep if you can find a room that cools down enough for it. I would guess that absorbing all that sun, the ceiling becomes a hot plate and then the ceiling fan blows all that heat down to you. our room cool down about 3 hours after we blasted the air conditioner. good staff. clean rooms. mosquitoes.
This would be the last place I'll visit again if I NEED to. Good costumer service TV/ cable don't work Night Stand light not working Pillows way to flat Super loud because hotel is in center city But after all rooms and bathroom clean AC was nice and cool And the shower had great water.
No frills although is very comfortable. If you are uses to all singing all dancing spangled hotels then give this a miss, but if you want to lay your head in a cheap clean comfortable bed for a night of few then you can feel confident this will do you. Around 1000pesos per night, as always everything is to bargain for. Very polite (more so than the big resorts staff) native staff, nothing is a problem for them. Restaurant does a few strange dishes, my fist chicken chow mein in a long long time, and actually pretty good, and massive quantities. It all seemed reasonably priced, lots of locals about, apart from reception you will need basic Spanish to communicate. I recommend it to anyone with a reasonable approach and understanding that you get what you pay for, and will no doubt find myself staying there again next time I have to stay in Pto Plata for a couple of days.…
It is basic, but has everything you need if looking for a budget place to stay. In Pto Plata itself it is a great base to have easy access into Pto Plata without needing to drive or taxi anywhere. Has a nice little restaurant and bar, the food was good enough and service with a smile. I noticed quite a few Dominican people eating in the restaurant during the day and early evening so is a good sign that the prices are good, and they were. Right on the main through road of Pto Plata it isn't quiet with all the traffic, but once in your room it is quiet. First time I'd had a sit down bath for ages, Cable TV, the beds are big and not 2 pushed together, A/C and nice and clean. Staff are very friendly and willing to assist in any way. They have internet access also. I paid $1.100pesos for a room with 2 double beds and A/C, I think they have rooms without A/C that you will get cheaper. The longer you stay the cheaper it gets and I found that they have room to bargain, my A/C room starting at $1.300 he came down quite easily. All in all a godsend if you spot a cheap flight or like me just need an overnight stop off.…
