I had an amazing stay at Senator Spa Resort. The resort was beautiful and well maintained. They had great food options for all diets. By far the entertainment staff changed my experience. Chicken little, Skinny...
A special thank you to Roberto, Marcelino, Haminton, Carlos and of course Pedro who would always pop in to see if we were being taken care of.
Great healthy choices in the buffet for all 3 meals daily; Lots of salads - special thanks go to Angelo who Overlook the operation of Buffet...... Free WiFi - very good connectivity throught out the resort space.
We loved being able to pop back to the room without trekking across an entire resort as we had to at other resorts.

My fiance and I rented here, although it's a hostel with three different bedrooms we had the place to ourselves. It was clean, had utensils and hot water. Above offices so at night privacy was above and beyond. Theres a hair salon and massage office below. Close to del oro chocolate factory. Right at beach, but I would recommend going farther up street for cleaner beach. There is seaweed, litter and drainage. Sosua is near, very amazing snorkeling and clean water, a little touristy so food prices higher, but if you dont mind driving this hostel is perfect.
