We stayed here after our arrival in the DR. It is a nice hotel: our room (201) was clean, cool, the breakfast was oke and served at the roof terrace of the hotel. Service is quick, friendly en helpfully. The rooms at the front of the hotel tent to be a little noisy in the night. The hotel is just...

Located in the centre of zona colonial you are always close to the nice squares where people gather and food and drinks are being served. The rooms are not big but for a 2 night stay enough to enjoy. Book a room with a french balcony, they are nice. Downside of this great location is that it's situated on the...

If you only have a couple days in Santo Domingo, the place to visit is the old part of the city, and this nicely refurbished older hotel is a wonderful spot to rest up for the next part of your adventure. A balcony is a must, but you must understand that night sounds will filter in, so don't expect the...

It's been several years since I visited the Dominican Republic and I still have vivid memories of how wonderful both the hotel and the staff there was. All the staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast on the roof was delicious and the rooms were clean with comfortable bedding. I'f gladly stay here again.

Our first hotel closed between booking and arriving to Santo Domingo so my wife and I were literally stranded with our luggage. Our cab driver recommended this hotel and they took us in and made us comfortable after a less than desirable first experience with the other hotel. The room was clean, and comfortable and the rooftop terrace was wonderful....

I stayed in the queen room with balcony (Room 209) and it was much smaller than expected but it's a very old European style building. I pack light so there was plenty of room for me and my bags. The balcony isn't big enough for a chair and half of it is occupied by the air conditioning unit so it's...

We thought the hotel was nice. They greeted us with a smile and were very polite. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a balcony, which I would strongly recommend.Rooms are small but very clean. The location in the Colonial Zone is one of the best.Overall a good experience.

Just one word .. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT ever think to chose this hotel just to save few pennies and then spoil your vacation, this is a horrible place to stay even for one night, Buffet breakfast is just ok and rooms are too small, noisy due to outside honking of cars, vehicle moving noises and rooms are...

I've traveled and have stayed at so many places...I've never been treated as poorly as I was here. They have a ridiculous guest policy (guests can only stay an hour before you are charged $26, which in DR, is a lot of money); I wasn't even informed of it until they started questioning me about my friends who'd come to...

We were in Santo Domingo for one night, and we stay in Antiguo Hotel Europa. We pay our room from our country at may because we look at the pictures and description from a lot of web-sites. We don`t need nothing special because we stay only one night, but we don`t expect that what we got, even for one night....
