The location is great! its in the heart of Zona Colonial. I notice that at the reception they always ask for ID for security reasons that it's great! Unfortunately there is not breakfast included, so for the price, probably you could find something with the same price with breakfast included. The rooms seems to be clean with cable and frigo....

We stayed two nights at this hotel during December. Rooms are clean but the pillows are extremely uncomfortable and the rooms close to the street can be very noisy. At $45 this is a cheap option but you can normally find good options on hotel sites for about the same. Breakfast is not included and a big minus is that...

I recently enjoed a 4-night stay at the Roma II which is more updated than the Roma I down the street. I had a single room at $45/night which is dirt cheap by US standards. The room was small, but had a flatscreen tv with cable and a nice-sized bathroom. The view of tenements was less than desirable, but for...

This was a very pleasant surprise in the middle of the Colonial Zone. Large spacious rooms, very nice staff who spoke english, and had no problems with the wi-fi. The location is prime for someone who is interested in exploring the colonial zone and beyond. Fantastic location!! No breakfast, pool, fitness center...just the room for the rate, which was a...

The Hotel is not bad at all, but need lots of improvement. I stayed there for few nights in Oct2012, not because I wanted, but just because a friend of mine paid already for me...I travelled without reservation and he was very kind to do it for me. If I did not stay they would charge him and etc...First, I...

I previously wrote a review of this hotel, Roma 2 (they also have Roma 1 a few blocks away, a much older, colonial style hotel), and I as not very complimentary about it. I just returned from a 4-day trip with a friend who wanted to say there, so I acquiesced and I was delighted to see that they have...

Considering I paid about $45/night for a an apartment; it is a good value. But it is in serious need of improvement. Huge cockroaches in the bathroom and kitchen areas. I was literally invaded by mosquitoes even in my room. I came back home with at least 50 mosquito bites. Also there are no wifi in the rooms just internet...

I booked two (2) standards rooms for ten(10) nights at the hotel roma 2 (with about 30 days in advance). I was told to call them at least 2 days before, so I did it 4 days before, and everyday during the 4 days. When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk agent told me that there was no reservation...

I booked a room for 3 nights via the hotel website and had a friend in DR follow up with a phone call due to lack of email confirmation. We arrived at hotel and was told that room was not available and hotel full. Was further told that someone else checked in under my reservation. Evidently there was a large...
