I was with a dive group from Houston, so I'm not sure that groups get parking lot view rooms. The rooms were adequate, comfortable beds, cant complain. Those rooms were a bit noisy because of the proximity to the open air front desk. Restaurant and bar service is on island time- but we could wait, just expect it. The two...

We never go back to the same place twice - maybe the same island but not the same hotel. We did this time because the beach is great, Ocean Encounters Dive operation is great and we loved our ocean front room last time. Lo and behold, our room was over the reception desk this time and we're not sure why....

Location The hotel is located at the end of Mambo beach which was handy for restaurants and a few shops, a few nights a week is does get noisy so we avoided it and it didn't bother us. Beach The beach is nice, some parts are a little rocky to walk in, it's better to have sea shoes, but if...

Lions Dive & Beach Resort We booked an Ocean Front room for the end of October-early November. We had looked at the webcam, but were un-prepared for the spectacular view from our third floor balcony facing the ocean! Taxi from the airport was about $50 USD plus tip and taxis were readily available when we arrived and cleared customs. The...

We had a great experience at Lions Dive & Beach Resort. We arrived late at night, the room we had reserved wasn't available ,so they upgraded us to a beach front suite. We had a gorgeous view the beach and blue water! Our own little patio with a table and chairs to enjoy sitting outside. Our room was actually the size...

Why? Because there are no simple statements that can be made. The room: despite lavish praise for ocean front rooms in other reviews by other reviewers, the room is no more than average. The furniture is old, cheap, and worn. The room itself is small, and the bathroom is especially small. There is no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion provided. There...

Let me start by saying that the room (2-bedroom apartment), grounds, pool, etc were all very nice. However, for the price you pay, I would expect a little more attention to detail. At arriving, there were no vacant parking spots in front of the hotel, and we were forced to park at the paid parking in front of the hotel....

Our 7-night stay at Lions Dive was nothing short.of excellent. This resort offers quite a lot of facilities and services but on a human scale. Efficent reception, rooms clean and up-to-date. The private beach was well oriented and not too busy when we visited. In fact, even though quite a lot of rooms seemed to be occupied, we found the...

Resort is nice, rooms are clean and ok but not 4 star rating. You could hear neighbours talking when they arrived from Bar at 4am. Beaches are superb and you could see lot of different kind of fishes while snorkeling. We even saw some octopus swimming there. Downside for us was the customerservice especially at Hemingways bar. Waitresses did not...

We are scuba divers, and this place was fancier than we expected. Also, we got a free upgrade to a capacious 2-BR suite with full kitchen and a wrap-around veranda overlooking the 50-meter pool. Surprisingly high-quality fixtures and appointments (hey, this is an island, after all). I have nothing bad to say about this place. Vey well maintained facilities and...
