We spent a week mid-December in this resort with 2 kids 7 and 9. We enjoyed it despite the weather (2 days were very cold... as for Cuba). The hotel is very clean, new, well maintained. Staff is super friendly, location is beautiful. Nice beach, huge swimming pools. Probably one of the best grounds we've seen. One nice thing was...

Excellent all inclusive hotel. The food, especially the small desert cakes, was the best by far I've had in four Cuban all inclusive. The staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks were watered down, but this normal. I could always find a shaded sun bed. Overall, the best you'll probably find in Cuba for the price.

We went there for a familly trip, with our 2 years old kid. ACCESS: The guided bus ride from the airport to the varadero resorts is only 30-40 minutes, quality of buses and road is great, no problems there. CHECKOUT: Is quick and efficient, we somehow had to roll our suitcases ourselves to the room... Don't wait for changing money...

My hubby and I stayed at Iberostar veradero and it was great. This was our first all inclusive and I am glad to have done it and can't wait to go back. The hotel has great staff that really took great care of us and that was exactly what I wanted. Great service, clean (and nice) rooms, great nightly shows,...

This modern beautiful hotel has good food and ambience, However, of the five hotels we stayed at in Cuba this one was the worst for sound and air conditioning. I had a bad night's sleep here which was no sleep. My ground floor room 1805 was noisy. The air conditioning was very, very loud, if the fan was turned off...

Following our 10 hour flight from Manchester and upon arriving in Cuba we were informed by the Thomson/First Choice rep that we would not be able to stay in this hotel for our first night as they had overbooked and that we would be staying at the Sandals Resort next door. Initially I was quite disappointed. However, on arriving at...

Myself and 41 of our friends and family went to Cuba, and stayed at the Iberostar Laguna Azul. I got married on November 20th, and then they all went home on November 24th. This resort ran out of suites for our second week, thus we found ourselved and 7 of our family (2 kids, aged 6 & 8) at the...

Just returned home from IB Varadero after the most enjoyable holiday ever. When we arrived our rep Frank met us with the news that there wasn't a room availlable for us that day so he took us to Sandals next door. That was curtesy of first choice holidays. They also gave us a voucher for a free massage and any...

Got back today from an 8-day stay in Cuba (our 2nd trip to Cuba), split between Varadero and Cayo Largo. Iberostar was the last hotel we stayed in but by no means the least! We started off the week at Paradisus Prncesa del Mar (of which we had read great reviews and hence had great expectations) and were extremelly disapointed...
