The hotel is really bad, everything is broken, staff is very unfriendly. When we wanted to take our breakfast, my friend was falling down because the chair was broken. I had hairs in my omlett and the plates were dusty!! But the worst was the room: the whole sealing was covered in mold and the beds were stinking! Mold was... More

While wandering around downtown Varadero stop in here for a drink or a bite to eat. The courtyard provides a classy and quiet atmosphere (depending on how close you might be to one of the loudspeakers. It looks like it would also be a good place to eat, but we didn't have a chance to do that.

We stayed our first night in Cuba in this Hotel. We had the room up in the little tower. Room was very dirty and the roof was full of mold. The Bathroom was very dirty and in poor condition too. No hot water! The Reception and the breakfast was in another Hotel (Dos Mares - 300m walk). There was no... More

We booked this hotel, but we were diverted to "Hotel Dos Mares," which is even more unwelcoming. Stay away! The pool was extremely noisy, even though nobody was there. The rooms looked worn down. We though we are lucky to be diverted, until the next unpleasant surprise waited for us. Note that food availability in that area is very limited.

Just the same as another member we were booked into the sister hotel (Dos Mares), but on arrival were told that no, we were in the Pullman. First given 122 in the annex behind the main hotel, we refused this room as the door wouldn't stay locked 50% of the time, there were slats missing from the bathroom window giving... More

We booked the room to Dos Mares, but in check in they told that it's here (they are part of the same hotel, but two blocks away form each other). Nowdays at least breakfast also served in Pulllman so no need to go back to Dos Mares (also checkout only by giving keys to a worker. Room was pretty worn... More

They did some renos to the hotel. The restaurant has been opened since November so you don't have to go to Dos Mares for your breakfast anymore. I only ate here once other then my breakfast. I ate crocodile but it was pretty plain. My room was very small & the tv didn't work. My air conditioner was loud &... More

Initially (prior to seeing the rooms) this looked like a nice hotel, ideally located close to the beach and main town. However without its own reception, we had to walk 10 minutes down to the road to collect the room key. Initially we were put in a top floor room (2nd floor) with a teeny tiny spiral staircase which my... More

So we chose this place for its relatively cheap price and proximity to the beach. We had the beach mostly to ourselves it was a stellar piece of beach. The man who was behind the counter throughout our stay was as helpful as he had to be, but still nice. The rooms had powerful ACs, and both rooms we had... More

nothing changed & i got room 127 for the 3rd time...leaving food, pop or anything sweet on the balcony could attract ants but other then that it's an old hotel & has a great location. the staff was decent & this time no issues with the blaring music from the patio bar...
