Good: -Nice clean rooms with a comfortable bed -Nice bathroom/shower with warm water -Very ample breakfast buffet -Friendly/professional staff -Good on site utilities (bars, restaurant) One of the best hotels we stayed in, while traveling in Cuba.

Located beside San Juan hill historical site outside the city center. Relatively long walk or taxi to get to the center. Problem was that it many times was hard to get a taxi at hotel. OK rooms, relatively clean. Breakfast OK. Staff friendly. WiFi in lobby and poolside. Nice pool.

I think this hotel won the first price in the contest for the most ugly and unpleasant place to stay in Cuba. The staff must have been trained to displease customers the way they do... . Breakfast starts if and when personnel pleases... .

I arrived at Villa San Juan with 6 other family members to enjoy the swimming pool service. First of all, nobody could swim until 10 am. We had arrived half an hour before and had to wait. While waiting, we went to see the pool quality. It's completely eroded and lack of paint. At 9:57 am we proceeded to purchase...

Not a hotel you would like to stay for a whole week. The room was OK but really nothing special, even a little bit old fashioned. The breakfast buffet offered quite a big choice and the staff was friendly. To down town it's about 4 km.

Seriously, I don't know what to think. It looked ok from the outside, then a big average in the lobby, in the end a disaster in the room. Old, dirty and dusty. There is a swimming pool which I am not even sure they clean. Breakfast was disguisting. No way for me.

I stayed here on our 9th day of touring Cuba. Unfortunately our room was placed on a corner by a busy corridor. So was noisy and staff ventured for their breaks near our room. As a Buddhist I chant every morning and evening, and decided to chant on the space outside the back of the room. The staff carried on...

close to the zoo, so don't be alarmed if you can hear the lions at night. They have a great pool, rooms are old and not well maintained. It's an okay hotel. Breakfast is not so great, really if other places offer a lot better quality, then why can't they here??

I have been staying at this hotel since 2011. It is conveniently located outside the town center (about 3 km) but has the advantage that you are in a quitter location away from the hustle and bustle of the town center. The hotel has a 3 star rating so do not expect five star services. Having said that, all staff...
