I stayed at this wonderful Casa particular during April/May 2012 for a whole month...Marlen and Juan Enilio were fantastic hosts and I would highly recommend this place...I never ate so well as Marlen is an excellent cook and I still maintain contact with them whenever I return to Santiago..Muchas gracias Marlen y Juan Emilio!.....Suzanita.

The Casa is relatively central and easy walking distance from the city centre as well as a short taxi ride from the main bus terminal.

Rooms are clean and fresh towels are provided. The highlight for me was their lush courtyard. We enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners here. I found that if you want excellent food at a good price,"eat at home". The food was always fresh, delicious and too much (got used to this after a while).

Marlen is a lovely, soft spoken lady who goes out of her way to assist where she can. I asked her if she could recommend a good salsa teacher and she made all the arrangements. The courtyard turned into a salsa studio for my dance lessons in the afternoon! A bonus, because space to teach is apparently difficult to find. I had 4 private lessons with Yoaris - a professional dance teacher at the university - highly recommended.

We were there over a weekend. Weekends they close Ave Garzon and you are right where the party...
