The room was very clean, well equipped and, most importantly, very cool! The owners were really friendly and helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The house was really central and it was very easy to get to places in Havana. They had a nice balcony to watch the busy street, which was better than any TV.
I stayed here twice, my hosts were very hospitable and could not do enough for me, I cannot recommend it enough. The accomadation is spotless, great breakfast on the terrace, wonderful. Plus, its right in the centre of old Havana.
Compared to other casas particulares in the area, this one is not the cheapest, but that was not the main issue while staying here. I stayed here two times, the first time before I started to travel to the east and since it was ok here, I did a reservation on site for a single room, for the last two days of my stay in Cuba. So, I arrived for my second stay in the evening and only met the owner of the casa, who showed me the room, which was actually a bed in his office/supply closet. I met the owners' wife around six in the morning, and instead of starting the conversation with a good morning, she was really eager for me to pay for the room (which was not a problem, but could have waited until I visited the bathroom). When I came back that day in the evening from visiting the city, another person already moved into my room. After I asked why I've got a shared room all of a sudden (no "wtf" at this time) without asking, I was blamed for not being there during the day so they could tell me. When I asked why they did not tell me about the surprise roommate during my arrival or when I paid in the morning (they already knew about the arrival of my "roommate"), I was suddenly blamed that my reservation was incorrect due to my lack of Spanish, even though we wrote the date down together and my Spanish was not an issue during my first stay... I don't even mind sharing a room with someone, but I like to know about that in advance. What I really don't like is that they did not ask or tell me about their booking and that they tried to put the blame for their double booking on me. After debating with them for some time, they "suddenly" had another spare room where I could move in. I'm also under the impression that the weird encounter in the morning was related to their double booking, so that I had an incentive to not just leave and search another place for that night. Btw.: You don't get a key for the house and have to ring (and hope someone is there) to get in. TL;DR: Tried to rent a room twice and denied their intent to do so, felt like a ripoff. Breakfast could be better.…
We've stayed here for 6 nights, the location is wonderful, in the centre of everything. The room was clean and big, we had a balcony facing the street, but not noisy. Everything you need is there, a fridge, hangers, airconditioning. Their stairs is used to sell souvenirs, but it was nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast there too, which is pleasant but nothing crazy. I would stay there again.
Very nice casa located in the very heart of the historic district in Havana. Could not be more centrally located. Room was clean, quiet, and nice, and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.
I stayed here in Room 4 with my friend for 4 nights and we loved it. The house itself is located up a small staircase off Obispo. The room had comfortable beds, good aircon, a well stocked fridge and a balcony. The bathroom close to the room and always very clean. The communal area was very nice too. There is wifi that you can use with the prepaid wifi cards. The location is brilliant, right in the centre of Old Havana, so you can walk to all the main sights.
Right on C/ Obispo, every location in Vieja is within a 10 minute walk. This casa was the most like a hostel out of all the casas I stayed at. The host family wasn't around much, although there was always someone around during the day. Not much English is spoken, but I managed. The mini fridge is well stocked with water, soda, juice and beer at reasonable prices. They were the most generous with towels (2 for body, 1 for hand, 1 for floor) but the bed was quite uncomfortable - I could feel the springs. $5 gets you a basic breakfast, but the coffee was the best, an espresso. The street is loud during the morning and afternoon, but I didn't find it an issue after 11pm. Not the best if you want to sleep in though. Room 1 comes with a great balcony.
This Casa Particular was very clean and located on the popular street called Obisbo. The hosting family spoke limited English, but wasn't an issue. They offered a morning breakfast for 5 CUC. They had hot water and clean linings. The street is very busy and you can hear music till about 1230am. Wasn't an issue for me since I was on vacation.
After you climb past the souvenir shop on the narrow stairway up to Hostal Obispo 360 you are greeted by a lovely casa particular. It is located right in the middle of Habana Vieja, which is a pedestrian promenade. The street is filled with colorful people, restaurants and music is always playing. We stayed in a basic room with comfortable beds, enjoyed hot showers and air conditioning. The breakfast was plentiful and the hosts were extremely helpful arranging reservations and transportation. We recommend this hostal as a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Old Habana.
This was our first trip to Havana and we really enjoyed being in the heart of the old city. Katty and Roberto were wonderful hosts and very helpful with advice on where to go (and not go). They opened up their home and family to us and that was a big part of our Havana experience. We really enjoyed our days wondering around the streets and landmarks around their home. It was great to be able to retreat back to our comfortable and secure home when we had seen enough. Katty gave us great recommendations on some local restaurants in their area. We look forward to staying at 360 Obispo again.
