Casa Antigua was one of our best experiences in Havana, Cuba. The house was decorated with Horacio (the owner)'s handmade crafts and many vintage stuffs. It made you feel like travelling back into the 1950s. Horacio was a great host who provided us a lot of useful information to travel around Havana including taking the collective taxis to the old...

Large, spacious well-restored historic home in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. Host was very helpful and served a delicious breakfast (eg, eggs, fruit, cake). Host knows a lot about Cuba's history and sociology which was so interesting to hear about over breakfast each morning. My kids felt welcome and enjoyed the small, quiet dog. Would definitely stay here again in...

Lovely house in the colonial style. Horasio and Marta are friendly hosts. Good breakfast: fresh, coffeee, ban, butter, jum, corn cookies, omelette or scrabble, fruites. Horasio beautifully played music. He recommended a good restaurant near Casa. We lived 5 nights, and would like a change of linen and towels

We spent 3 nights here when we first arrived in Cuba. Our hosts Horacio and Marta were fantastic; they organized a taxi to pick us up from the airport and were there to great us on arrival into their home. Location is great, close to the Malecón and not away from old town, just 15min cab ride. Room was comfortable...

We were booked to stay with Casa Antigua on 10 and 11 January 2017. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told that there were repairs going on outside our room and we could not stay at the casa. We informed Horacio and Marta that we did not mind putting up with the repairs, but they were insistent that we should...

We liked the character of the home & furnishings and the quiet location, close to easy access by taxi or Collectivo into the old town. The breakfasts were substantial and good & facilities such as outdoor seating, fridge, fan, AC all appreciated. The hosts were friendly and Horatio made excellent recommendations on things to see, how to get around and...

Just back from my first trip to Cuba, and how lucky we were we booked Casa Antigua months ago! Many former patrons wandered into this lovely home of Horacio and Marta for a visit, literally sad that they had to stay someplace else in the network. Rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean with every amenity needed for a weekend or...

Horacio and Martha are very friendly people and helpful. It was nice having conversations with them. The house is in a very nice part of the city. The breakfasts were amazing. Nice food, and lovely live piano music.

We couldn't recommend this Casa enough. Horacio and Marta, the hosts, were most welcoming and make you feel part of the family and Horacio speaks excellent English. They go out of the way to help you make the most of your stay with suggestions of places to visit and restaurants and music bars to go to. The room we stayed...

The best place to start your Havana stay. Horacio is such a nice guy that gives you all the info you need and more. You'll get info on the Cuban life you will never find in your lonely planet. Worth every penny. Make sure to eat at "the factory" near by.
