I arrived here prior in the early afternoon (check in not til 4pm) so was able to leave my luggage with the desk. Is a decent location, a few blocks walk from the old-town and near Central Park Hotel and various bars/restaurants. The rooms (and hotel generally) were quite basic, the room view was of the next building, but good...

I wasn't expecting much in regards to lodging after researching hotels in Havana. I wasn't able to get into another hotel for our first night in Havana, so made reservations here through Cuba Travel Network. The location is very good -- located along the Prado, however, the hotel itself was dismal. Our room was similar to that from a Jason...

I don't mind staying in a run down hotel if I am paying run down prices. However, this hotel was very expensive and the cost did not match the service. We had no hot water for 2 days and had to move rooms because the maintenance man didn't manage to fix it. The second room was so small that we...

Like many of the hotels in Cuba, this is an older building and pretty standard for a Cuban hotel. It is not very modern. The building is about 7 stories high. It’s a pretty close walk to main attractions like the Capital in central Havana. The rooms were very clean and had air conditioning. The water in the shower does...

I stayed in the Park Hotel overnight before departing on a tour of Cuba. The hotel is close to Havana Vieja & the Manecon. The lift is quite dated & not the most encouraging. The door to my room on the sixth floor had no doorlatch so one had to lock the door or it would remain open. The room...

We arrived in this old and run down property and used 1 hour checking as reception could not understand that we could not fit 14 people in 12 beds. It was not their problem, even thou booking stated 14 pax. The rooms has worn and run down. Breakfast restaurant was OK and located on top floor with nice views.

The Park View has a great location - just two blocks outside of Habana Vieja. Overall the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had fairly low expectations going in, considering what I have read about the hotels in Havana, and this hotel confirmed those expectations. The room was sparse but serviceable. There was hot water in the bathroom and...

The Park View may have been one of the sophisticated hotels in the 1920s, but it looks like it has barely been vacuumed or cleaned since then. Adventures: Room 1: 1 cm of water on the bathroom floor, with more water dripping through the ceiling. OK, they had a second room for us. Room 2: only 2 towels total. OK,...

This hotel, at 240CUC per night is absolutely awful. We were unable to regulate the temperature in the freezing room, and ended up having to wear coats to bed. There was no hot water in the shower, and the room was very basic - not good value for money, even on Cuban standards. The lift works intermittently and never stops...

The Park View is in a good location near the Malecon and various museums but the place is otherwise unattractive. We had no hot water and the front desk was dismissive when we complained. The room was dirty (although the bedding was clean, thank goodness) and smelled of fumigant. Two weak lightbulbs were the only illumination. We were told that...
