I have stayed at his house or apartment many, many time and I will never consider staying anywhere else while in Havana. It has a great location and is extremely clean as well as serves awesome breakfasts!

I think I have lost count of the number of times I have stayed at Juan Carlos's and his apartment. I will never stay anywhere else as the people are wonderful and the house always clean. I feel like family when I am there and there is no other choice than this casa while I am in Havana.

Juan makes you feel so welcome. He is ready to assist you with any question or need you might have. I enjoyed the breakfast. The fresh fruit, bread, egg and cheese, coffee and fresh juice were always more than I could eat. His recommendations for dinner were excellent. The room and Casa are very clean. It is close to Old Havana, the Malecon, the Paseo and the Capital.

I travel to Havana many times every year. To me, Casa Juan Carlos and his apartment are the only options in Havana for me to stay. Juan Carlos and the people that work for him are extremely helpful with the needs of the guests. It is a great location, it has great food and great people. What more can you ask for!

I have stayed several times in Casa Juan Carlos, and every time have been made to feel like part of the family. The owners, Clarita and Juan Carlos are great hosts, ever-ready to help with local advice and travel tips, and also make a great breakfast. The house is kept extremely clean, and is located close to El Malecon - coastal drive, and also to the touristic area of Habana vieja.

Juan Carlos' house is probably one of the nicest Casa's particulares of Havana. The owner is a great guy and his family makes everything to make you enjoy your stay there and in Cuba. The house is a piece of architecture and is perfectly located: central but not terribly touristy, close to Malecon, close to El Prado and to the city centre. One of the most important thing is that JC can give a lot of hints where to go and especially in which other Casas in other town you can stay with similar comfort. So once you get in there, your holiday in Cuba cannot be bad! I have stayed with Juan Carlos and Clarita many times now and I cannot recommend their beautiful home and charming hospitality highly enough. They are the most caring family who really made me feel like I had a home in Cuba. Clarita's food is absolutely amazing and you must try some of you stay there. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the area is very convenient for exploring Havana. It is near the Malecon, central Havana and Old Havana. The hosts are always willing to help with any information or needs you have. This is Cuban hospitality at its best.

I have stayed at Casa Juan Carlos many times.The people are wonderful and house is always clean. Breakfast is awesome although much larger than I am use to at home. The location is awesome and the neighbors friendly. They always go the extra mile and treat like family. When I go home, I miss everyone from the casa. I can't wait to get back.

We arrived in Havana and stayed at Casa Juan Carlos our first three nights. We couldn't be more happy to start our journey in Cuba with such nice people, ready to help you at any moment and serving you a delicious breakfast. Juan Carlos and Carlita helped us with reservations at other Casas in Cuba as well. To sum up: a fair price, a cosy house and a loving family. Enjoy Havana!
