Surama's casa is in an excellent place to start your Havana adventures. The place is beautiful, with colonial features. Our room was across two levels, very clean with modern AC. Bathroom was good. Only slight issue was the stairs in the room to the bedroom were a bit steep, especially after a few mojitos! Breakfast was good and very reasonably...

I stayed at Casa Ana y Surama with my boyfriend last October and could not have been more thrilled with the experience. The location is perfect, right off of Plaza Vieja, very convenient for walking around Habana Vieja. We stayed in the private room with an ensuite bathroom and had a great view from our private balcony. Breakfast was delicious...

We loved staying at Ana y Surama! First of all, it's in an amazing location just a block off of Plaza Vieja in the heart of Habana Vieja, and everything you could possibly want is only a few minutes walk away. The casa itself is spectacular. Very high ceilings, colorful, comfortable beds, and our room even had a balcony overlooking...

We were here 3 night on honeymoon. In old Habana this place is very nice. Clean, nice, pretty... The breakfast was very SUPER! Lot of fresh food and "huevos revueltos", lot of coffee, hot milk and everything else. Surama was sweet and friendly. Muchas gracias, from Hungary 5*

The word says all: Perfecto!!! We are happy to offer the place and the energy for starting your new life as a married couple. And thanks for writing about the food. In our house, as well as in Havana and Cuba, we are proud of our homemade food, as well as the fresh products many grown organically in our country....

The house is very clean and the old Havana sqare is just 2minutes walking. From the balcony you can see the sqare. For breakfast we had fruits, eggs, fresh juice and very good coffe. The only minus is that the quest speaks little english, but she's very nice. She even called a taxi for us. All in all worth the money...

Liana, Glad you enjoy your stay at our place in Havana, the fresh food and coffee and the proximity to the heart of the city. And yes, the price is good. Many of us traveling around the worlds could really appreciate and compare the cost, the service and the energy of a place. We are here to facilitate our guests,...

This casa was very different to the others we had stayed in. After we toiled up the three flights of narrow stairs we were dumbstruck by the mad interior decoration of the apartment. A home awash with antiques and china ornaments, clocks, marble pillars and polished wood furniture. Not perhaps to everyone's taste but the owners certainly take a pride...

Pros: great location, restaurants/nightlife a few blocks away, small private balcony to watch street life, clean, the bathroom we had was big and had a great shower with plenty of space & hot water, AC & fan in room, fridge in room Cons: least favorite casa of the 3 casas we stayed in, too many tacky antiques crammed in the...

Thanks for your comments. We all have our own taste and sure, our house is not designed to please every body. Perhaphs, you may realize that there choices in life and that your comments have to do with your own life than with our interior decoration.

Ana y Surama casa is very near Plaza Vieja. Some hubbub, music, and street noise. But you are three floors above that so it’s minimal. Good people watching from the balconies. Good site to explore the old city. Immaculate casa decorated with lots of ceramic figurines. Enjoyed the family’s hospitality very much. Sonayi and Luca, thank you.

You are more welcome!!! And yes, we are lucky to be in such great location. we owed to Mom and Dad who bought the place many years ago. Oh and also we owed it to the restauration plans of Old Havana, which drastically changed the city. Best, come back soon!!!

We didn't actually stay here, but we did visit and had a look around. Although we booked well in advance, when we arrived (and lugged our baggage up two flights of stairs, the owners claimed we didn't have a booking - until we showed them the emails - then they said "but you didn't confirm five days ago". It's interesting...

Dear Geoff, we are really sorry about the miscommunication. As you found out, the Internet is a headache in Cuba and sometimes the communication with clients breaks. We will make sure that next time it won´t happen. We are working on getting better communication channels for our business. Best, Raul Ferrera-Balanquet PR Manager
