What a wonderful, charming place to stay in a wonderful location in Old Havana. Maura and her daughter Laura are lovely hosts and make sure all your needs are taken care of, whether it's a delicious meal, tips on the neighborhood, or arranging a car. Definitely recommend staying here.

Maura is a wonderful host who ensured our comfort throughout our stay. Her Casa is beautufully appointed with a balcony great for people watching. The quality of breakfast was excellent and this was the best casa we stayed in during our trip to Cuba. The area was very safe and quiet. The rooms clean and spacious and the whole house...

My mom, myself and my aunt from New York stayed at Casa Maura for 2 days then went to Trinidad for 2 nights then back to Maura's for 3 days. From the moment we met her she was an absolute delight. We booked prior to arriving in Cuba and Orlando, Maura's hubby was extremely responsive and emailed me all the...

I was in Cuba for almost a month recently. It was my third trip to Cuba. Since Maura always seems to be fully booked due to her popularity, I planned my trip around her availability as I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else! Maura and her family make you feel right at home, and the location is as good as it...

We came into Havana for one night and chose to stay at Casa Maura for the one night. The location was great! It was steps away from where the Viazul bus drops you off. Definitely don't be turned off by the location as it really is great location. Maura greeted us when we arrived and I felt at home! I...

Don't be put off by the external appearance of the building or the surrounding area. It is not representative of what the casa looks like on the inside! We felt quite safe and were assured by the Casa owner that it was a very safe area. We initially had second thoughts about staying there when we first drove up. Casa...

Everything is excellent at Casa Maura. Maura and Orlando are very gracious hosts and are helpful with information about Havana, restaurants and places to see, and generally getting oriented to the city. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean, and breakfasts are abundant with fresh fruit and juices, eggs, good bread and pastries, and strong coffee to start your day off...

I was with Maura for 5 nights and I had a very comfortable stay - she was very helpful and patient in every way. Orlando was also very helpful with arranging my travel and meal itinerary and offered pre-trip help. Being a first-timer in Cuba, I was very happy to stay with this lovely family since I do not speak...

Nice and clean room, flat well located next to the Museo de la Revolution in La Havana Vieja. Consistent breakfast cooked fresh. We also enjoyed sitting on the terrace. We recommend going to Casa Maura. Friendly welcome cocktail at your arrival on top of all!

It would be hard to find a more welcoming and generous hostess and host than Maura and Orlando. Maura clearly loves having guests in her home and nothing is too much trouble. We were lucky enough to spend Christmas there so participated in the Christmas Eve feast with the family and other guests as guests of Maura and Orlando. Breakfast...
