Thanks to Maura and Orlando, we had a wonderfull time in Havana!! The location is really perfect, we did everything by foot and it was really easy. Maura took the time when we arrived and even after during our stay to explain the city and what we should visit and do. And we really loved this city and the people...

I will not reiterate all the accolades from previous postings on Casa Maura which I concur with. Maura and Orlando enjoys taking care of their guests and are very compassionate to our needs. Where can you have a wonderful breakfast while sharing stories with other guests from all over the world (I met other travelers from Italy, France, Guatemala, Wisconsin,...

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was fantastic. Casa Maura is exactly what you see, no surprises. Just off Prado Street which is one of the main Avenues. There were 3 sources of air in the room (real new aircon, fan, and the ceiling fan). Super clean. Good bathroom too. Great breakfast and they genuinely go out of...

My husband and I stayed with Maura and we were very happy with the accommodations. The room was beautiful and clean, and we were very excited to learn that it had AC! There was also a fan mounted to the wall for our comfort. The room had a private bathroom with shower as well. There is a shared living room/dining...

We stayed altogether four nights at Casa Maura. The location is perfect next to the Museum of the Revolution. The breakfast was our favourite of all the casas we stayed during our 10 days in Cuba. Maura and Orlando were really helpful and welcoming hosts. Would stay there again!

My wife and I - both seniors - have just returned from week in Havana, which included 5 nights in Casa Maura. Our recommendation to anyone thinking of going to Havana, and staying in a private home (casa particular) in the most picturesque part of Havana (Habana Vieja - the once colonial heart), is that the first place to try...

What a wonderful, charming place to stay in a wonderful location in Old Havana. Maura and her daughter Laura are lovely hosts and make sure all your needs are taken care of, whether it's a delicious meal, tips on the neighborhood, or arranging a car. Definitely recommend staying here.

Maura is a wonderful host who ensured our comfort throughout our stay. Her Casa is beautufully appointed with a balcony great for people watching. The quality of breakfast was excellent and this was the best casa we stayed in during our trip to Cuba. The area was very safe and quiet. The rooms clean and spacious and the whole house...

My mom, myself and my aunt from New York stayed at Casa Maura for 2 days then went to Trinidad for 2 nights then back to Maura's for 3 days. From the moment we met her she was an absolute delight. We booked prior to arriving in Cuba and Orlando, Maura's hubby was extremely responsive and emailed me all the...

I was in Cuba for almost a month recently. It was my third trip to Cuba. Since Maura always seems to be fully booked due to her popularity, I planned my trip around her availability as I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else! Maura and her family make you feel right at home, and the location is as good as it...
