On the plus side this hotel is very well located and has an impressive atrium. We found the reception staff friendly and efficient. The room was spacious. Breakfast was well organised and good with the exception of the first day that was so disorganised even Basil Fawlty couldn't have reached the levels of incompetence. On the minus side, the room...

Located centrally, this hotel is really luxurious compared to others in the area. The rooms are large, air conditioning works well, elevators are operational, rooms are clean, food for breakfast is outstanding, and the staff is friendly. As is true for everywhere we stayed, the water supply for hot water and showers is not particularly good with both scalding and...

We stayed there twice during our Cuba trip and really enjoyed this hotel. It is conveniently situated in Old Havana, so close to places of interest and bars / restaurants. The bedrooms are spacious, complete with seating area and large bathrooms, (with great waterfall style showers). Our first stay was in room 105, which was above the bar, so very...

Firstly you must remember that the normal international hotel classifications do not apply to Cuba. For Cuba this was a good hotel. The position was excellent, our room was spacious and clean. We did eat in the restaurant on the first evening and the food was actually very good and quite cheap and the service was good. Unfortunately we were...

The only good thing about this hotel is its location! That is it! We had 4 nights here at the end of an otherwise excellent independent holiday in Cuba. It didn't bode well from the start, the doormen stand and watch you struggle with your cases from taxi across the square, at the door step they lifted the case up...

We were a group of 7, about to begin a cruise. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. It was our first time in Havana. The hotel is properly run and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are average, the air condition was working very well. Breakfast is served in the main restaurant, which is in the...

As most travelers to Cuba know, hotels in Havana run on the expensive side just as a matter of simple market economics; the number of tourists far outnumber available hotel rooms. Be that as it may, we felt for the amount we were paying that the room would be more comfortable. My main issues were 1. rooms not in great...

This hotel is located in a beautiful old building, but the inside is modern and lacks atmosphere. We stayed one night in a good, large room but it had a mouldy smell. The breakfast was a la carte and the best we had in Cuba. We had to ask to get our complimentary welcome drink at arrival. The complimentary city...

This is a very pricey hotel in the city centre. Therefore I would expect the hotel to have hot water. We only stayed one night, our final night of the trip. The room was comfortable and clean. The lobby are also has no roof with a tarpaulin cover. If it rains expect to get splashed whilst eating your breakfast. We...

Our room was spectacular. Large seating area, dining area, huge bed , showers and toilet and sink area all in glass partitions and a hug bath in the middle of a large room en route to the shower room. Amazing !! The downside was about 36 hours without hot water ! A hotel problem we think not Havana. Staff very...
