Yadilis and his family could not have been more helpful, and welcoming. Yadilis had a map prepared for guests showing places to visit and eat. A beautiful home just minutes from the beautiful Prada and Malecon walks but also right in the bustle of Havana streets. Amazing breakfasts provided by Yadilis and served by very friendly family members on the roof terrace. Just perfect!

My husband and I stayed at this lovely Casa midway through our Cuba trip. We only wish we had stayed longer and next time we will! Yoel and Yadlilis take pride in their Casa, everything is immaculate, clean, tidy and welcoming. Our double room had everything we needed iron, safe, air con, fan, space to hang clothes also clothes hangers, lovely towels and TV .The bed was comfortable. A mini fridge with bottled water, soft drinks and beer(for a very small cost). Private bathroom with shower. Your own keys to come and go as you wish. Breakfast was good, tasty and the presentation very creative. It made me smile ! Location is fantastic a short walk to old Havana and other sights of interest. Yoel provided a map and information about the area and also arranged a taxi for us at short notice. The area we felt safe in and is authentically Cuban. We are well travelled and have experienced varying levels of hospitality all over the world. I have to say that the hospitality at Casa Colonial is excellent. Joel and Yadlilis are kind, thoughtful, helpful, beautiful souls who care about their guests experience. All the staff work as a team but are a family and make sure you have everything you need and you are well looked after. A thank you to the kind man that carried our suitcase to and from our taxi and also up and down the stairs. He was helpful, friendly and professional. I spent 7 nights at Casa Colonial with my daughter during a cycling holiday in Cuba and cannot recommend it highly enough. Email communication when booking was excellent and responsive which put me at ease for our arrival. The hotel is centrally located and only a 5 minute from Old Havana. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite and fun to be around. The hotel rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. As a base in Havana and Cuba you'll struggle to find better. Our stay in Yadilis and Joel’s home was excellent. Their house is nice and cozy, rooms are big, comfortable and clean. Including good A/C and mini fridge. They offer a fantastic breakfast for a good price. They helped us planning our stay, arranging onward transportation, and providing great tips about Havana. Location is great, in Central Havana but really close to Havana vieja. This was the best casa in our visit to Cuba and it’s a fantastic place to feel at home in a lovely city.

I recently traveled to Cuba and while I was in Habana - at the beginning and at the end of my trip - I stayed at Casa Colonial. It was truly a wonderful experience. Having never been to Cuba before, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. However, from the moment I arrived, Yoel, Alexander and the entire team at Casa Colonial took excellent care of me. They carried my bags to my room for me, Yoel went over a map of the city with various sights to see and helped me with the money exchange. He made sure I was settled and comfortable. They were happy to accommodate my veggie diet and breakfasts were always fun with various creative designs of fruits and vegetables, bread and some nice pastry. The coffee each morning was hot and delicious. Both my rooms were beautiful and quiet with all the nice amenities such as a safe, a/c, hair dryer, hot water, etc. I drove poor Leandro crazy trying to get my internet working with the NAUTA card and he was so patient and helpful with me. Everyone at Casa Colonial works hard to ensure their guests have a lovely stay. It's located in a very convenient neighborhood as well. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Habana!…

My daughter and I had the privilege of experiencing great hospitality at Casa Colonial Yoel and Yadilis Habana, belonging to Joel and Yadillis for 9 days January 2023. For us it was a home away from home, made exceptionally pleasant by Joel, Yadillis, Alexandro (Pappa), Leandro and Alejandro. This Casa is not only beautiful, but exceptionally clean and well maintained, with all the comforts of Aircon, spacious rooms and a safe. Yadillis and Leandro, we loved the creativity on our breakfast plates, it made the food more appealing. Thanks Joel for your welcoming spirit, the map made our trips around town much easier and between yourself and Pappa assisting us with all our needs, just a phone call away. Leandro and Alejandro thanks for your assistance with directions to our night time excursions and your informative insights. This Casa is situated within walking distance of most important amenities and as a South African I would highly recommend this Casa to anyone visiting Cuba. Should we get the opportunity, we would love to visit Cuba again and we will definitely make use of your Casa and hospitality again. We had an amazing 4-night stay at Yoel & Yadilis’s casa in Havana to kick off our Cuba trip. It is a great location in industria, only 5min walk from the Capitol and 10-15min from the plazas. We had great recommendations of what to do, Yoel helped us change euros to pesos at a great rate, buy wifi passes and book our collective taxi to Viñales. Breakfast by Yadilis was the best of all the places we stayed in Cuba - with fresh juice, bread, pastry/cake, meat, cheese & salad with plates in cute designs. Alejandro who works there was friendly, smiley and helpful always. The room had air conditioning, a safe, tv, fridge with beer & water and plenty of space. It was great to have a safe haven in bustley Havana! Highly recommend! C & P

I spent 2 nights in June and had a great time. The apartment is located in the center of old Havana, so easy to walk to many places like restaurants, bars, cafes, malecón, I never took a taxi once. The casa is beautiful and well maintained, lots of space in our room and AC and hot water worked great. Breakfast was very nice and hot with good coffee. All the guys were so kind and funny, they helped us out a lot telling us where to go and how to get there. I felt comfortable to ask them for anything. Room was always clean and we had no issues. Thank you so much Yadillis and Yoel, I hope to stay with you again!

I stayed here at the beginning of my trip to Cuba. I was travelling alone but felt very safe here. They were very helpful and they spoke English which was great. The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. The Casa is in a great location for exploring the city and they have me lots of suggestions for what to do while in Havana. They provide a great breakfast in the morning too.
