The 4 of us needed 2 rooms and Luis of Casa 1932 referred us to the nearby Casa Tania which is very near the Melacon. Tania and "Tom" were excellent hosts and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms & bathrooms were newly renovated and clean, the breakfast area was spacious, the breakfast was...

Early December we visited Havana for the first time and we had a very pleasant experience. Orlando and his wife Niurka, our hosts, were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to chat with Orlando and his wife, we had the feeling we were visiting family friends. The house is well located, a few minutes walk away from the main...

My partner and I had originally booked 2 nights at this casa. We loved the place and the hosts so much that we decided to come back to Havana one more night just to stay with them again. The house is huge and gorgeous with extremely high ceilings, colorful bedrooms and beautiful antique furniture. It is well located, 10 min...

This was our first time visiting Cuba. We were four men and were glad to find this Casa! We each had our own bedroom and enjoyed breakfast every day. Our last evening we enjoyed one of the best dinners! This is a family run Casa or bed and breakfast. This isn't fancy but charming and staying at someone's home. Yet...

I had heard about this 'case particular' from a friend who had stayed there a few months before my trip in May. He had recommended it highly to me and now I want to do the same. Apart from a bit of difficulty in actually getting in touch (or knowing whether I had been in touch via e-mail) I booked...

I stayed in Orlando's Casa for 9 days. Orlando and his wife speak little English but they really take the hospitality part seriously, and make you feel so welcome. The location of the house was just 5-6 minutes walk to Obispo Calle, Habana Vieja where you mostly be. The room was ensuite with 24 hours of hot water, nice and...

I have had the pleasure of staying many times at this lovely 1920's era Spanish Colonial casa in Centro Habana. Orlando Fernandez and wife Niurka are fantastic hosts and facilitators and couldn't be more friendly. Their house is beautiful, truly Cuban and very spacious with 16 ft ceilings and 12 foot doors on the rented rooms and the central portion...

My friend and I stayed in this house in October 2012. The flat is lovely, with a nice terrace and nicely decorated, clean and spacious. Orlando and his wife were extremely good hosts. They prepare very tasty breakfast and dinner, and they are also very friendly and talkative. Thanks to them we learnt so many things about Cuban's everyday life....

I traveled to Cuba with a friend in August 2006 and she and I finally settled on Casa TaniaMiguel online before we left. I'm so glad we did. It looks like Tania's brother, Orlando is running it now. Although Tania and Miguel were running it when I was there, I saw Orlando daily and he was the sweetest. This place...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa Tania Miguel is located on an exclusively Cuban, lively shopping street only 7 minutes walk from the tourist areas of the Malecon and Old Havana. The fact that Neptuno is a Cubanand not a tourist street means that no one is trying to sell you anything as you walk in your neighbourhood. But there is lots to do within 2 blocks of your home. Families enjoy the best ice cream in Havana at a shop steps from your door, and the nearby casa de Musica offers the best in Cuba music from the latest timba to traditional rumba starting with 4 o’clock matinees end with dancing till dawn. ... more   less
