My original plan was to stay only 2 days in Havana, but after staying in Casa Vania I decided to stay 2 more days. Ivan and Albis are great hosts, they helped me find not just accommodation in Varadero, Trinidad, and Pinar del Rio, but also helped me out organize taxi and bus trips to different parts of the city. The place is well located, you can just walk to La plaza de la Revolucion, Vedado, or Old Town Habana.
I intended on staying here for one night, but loved it so much, I ended up staying for three. After staying in busy Habana Vieja, this was a welcome retreat! Ivan and his wife are perfect hosts and their house is impeccably clean and on a quit street. They had the best recommendations and their house is very conveniently located. I'll definitely return here if I am lucky enough to visit Cuba again.
My partner and I stayed here for 10 nights just before Christmas and we could not have picked a better place. It is really close to Revolution Square and is within walking distance to other attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, had good air-conditioning and we had our own bathroom which was also very clean. They serve breakfast if you want it and even though it costs extra it is well worth the money. The family that run the Casa are very helpful and told us places that we could visit and how to get around Havana, and what excursions we could take outside the city. In the evenings they welcomed us to join in with what they were doing. They are friendly and kind, and if we came back to Havana we would stay here as it made our holiday even better than if we had stayed in a hotel.…
This is the best experience I ever had in this beautiful house. I spent one night in Casa Vania and it was amazing. A perfect customer service, the rooms are cleaned, climatized and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious.
I spent seven nights in Casa Vania in July. In my room I had a personal bathroom and good air conditioning. The hosts are very nice and helpful, they told me about some interesting places to see. I even went to a club with some of their family twice. The breakfast is great but it costs extra. If I ever come back to Havanna I will stay at this place again.
