This was the first time staying in the Bonaire Fun apartments, having previously stayed in the adjacent Tropicana and Dive Hut (same owners) which are also good. The truck, diving and hotel was sorted out as a package via e-mail. On arrival, we were picked...More
Our arrival to Bonaire was delayed by 2 hours; at 6 am we piled into the waiting taxi arranged by The Dive Hut/BonaireFun Apts. With room ready and a welcome package, we unpacked to freshen up for breakfast. Taking our time enjoying the morning breeze,...More
This was our second stay - and hopefully not our last! This visit was as great as the first. Roland and Irene continue to be helpful and friendly. For example, Irene went to her house to get her personal sewing kit so that I could...More
We really appreciated our stay at Bonaire Fun in a 1-bedroom appartment. We will be back. Very convenient, quiet and comfortable. We were there for 2 weeks diving. Everything was set-up like mentionned before arrival: pick-up truck, unlimited air, gear room. All the staff is...More

They are associated with a dive shop, Wannadive. They have several sites on the island, the biggest one is down the road from Bonaire Fun and you get a nice discount. There is a locked dive are on the side of Bonaire Fun where you can wash and store gear, Wannadive will drop off tanks there once you have signed up with them. They are very reasonable - we found a cheaper place but there were a ton of issues that made it not workable. You should rent a car - the people at BonaireFun got us a single cab truck which is the perfect size for 2 divers. If you haven't been to Bonaire, you need to realize that a truck is important! Then you can drive to the store (eating out is expensive, all food is expensive on the island) to cut costs. Just a warning, when you first walk in BonaireFun, you think 'gee, this is small'. Actually, it is the perfect size once you get settled in! We hope to go back soon!
