First time visiting Barbados and we stayed at the Radisson for one week. Although the property is old and can use a face lift, our recent stay at the Radisson was nice. The hotel is located on a prime beach location with excellent views of pebble and brown beach. Our room was clean and bed was very comfortable. On one occasion the AC was not working and soon after we reported the problem they were able to fix it. The restaurant staff and services were less than desirable. We would definitely return to the Radisson for our next visit to Barbados.
Spent 9 nights with kids. Perfect location on the beach. Great staff. Clean confortable room. All classic expectations from vacation hotel fulfilled (swimming pools, fitness, beach towels, beach chairs, food service continuation from 6am to 10pm). Good breakfast, a bit pricey.
I have a very bad experience in the front desk with the manager Janine. They couldn't find my reservation and she kept being rude. It seems that the basic knowledge of client/customer - hotel relations were not taught to this lady. The company that I reserved called and she was still being rude. To happen this kind of things in a chain of hotel as radisson, it is unacceptable I am deeply distressed and upset.
Get an ocean view or oceanfront, the view is worth the extra. The water/waves are calm, clean, and picturesque. Convenient onsite restaurant on the beach with fair pricing and delicious food. There's a kiddie pool on the opposite side of the adult pool. The beach here is good and I also take the underpass by the restaurant and walk (about 5 mins) to Carlise Bay, where they're chair/umbrella rentals and street vendors in parking lot for drinks and food, bring towels.
I went to Barbados with 12 of my friends and family, I suggested the Radisson Aquatic Resort because I have stayed their long time ago and it was pretty okay. This time it was a horrible stay at this hotel, the staff was wonderful dealing with the issues the building have. Outdated rooms, air conditioner not cooling and leaking fluid, crates of empty beer bottles near the pools and rats running around by the pool.
It was a bitter trip, going to bury one of my brothers and spenting time with the rest of the family. My son getting a another view to enjoy my homeland, meeting additional cousins, enjoying the food and beach.
My family and I really had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and hospitable! My son really enjoyed seeing the fishes from the aquatic terrace after dining at night. Will definitely come again once in Barbados!!!
I picked this hotel to stay in due to the location. We stayed for 4 nights, and honestly I have no complaints. Yes the hotel decoration could do with a freshen up, however the room size was great, had everything we needed in it. The views are to die for. Incredibly comfy bed. The only bug bear with the room was the loud air con. But we managed to sleep fine all 4 nights. The beach Id gorgeous and right where the horses are swam most mornings. The staff were lovely, so friendly and helpful. Especially Shawn on the beach helping with loungers and umbrella’s. The hotel is a short walk from the bus stop which we used every night to get to and home from dinner and drinks out. Would definitely stay here again.
the room i stayed in was old and filthy i do not recommend anyone staying there, plus I was penalized an extra night for checking out early....yes I have pictures to show and will post to social media .
The hotel was definitely not a 5 star as needs refurbishments . The air conditioning is so loud we couldn’t use it . The beach was amazing , food was lovely and having breakfast watching the horses on the beach was stunning . What spoilt the hotel was how rude the staff are on reception.
