We had 10 days at this hotel from 21st April and can honestly say we had a wonderful time. The food was varied and tasty (and they even made some of it less spicy for delicate ol' me!) You felt as though you were a valued guest and not just a room number. Our last night was a manager's cocktail/bbq... More

My 79 year old fathers booked it through Thompson/First Choice for our party of 9.(including my mother, my two sisters and husbands as well as my husband and our19 year old son, who has learning difficulties) from the moment... We have just returned from a two week stay with friends at this hotel and have had a great time. It's small, only twenty four rooms, and peaceful. No blaring music round the pool, or at the bar, clean, comfortable and very friendly. The staff are welcoming, efficient and always have a ready smile, and stop for a chat, from the... More

This for us was a return visit, previously being there in 2009 and the changes where nice to see. The location is perfect, 5 mins from the race course, 20 mins walk to Bridgetown, 45 to the Kensington Oval, right next to a fantastic beach (where Cuz's is), buses pass the far end of the road so easy to get... Just got back from a very enjoyable holiday in Barbados, at the most unusual of hotels. The Island Inn has only 24 rooms, all on one level in mostly chalet form. Most meals are served on a set menu basis with a choice of two starters, main courses and desserts all changing on a daily basis. From reading Trip Advisor... More
