First, I appreciate Recela and Rochelle for emailing me info about Aruba activities. Next, I had a great massage at the Spa. Shout out to the masseuse. My room was spacious and comfortable. Brickell Bay is near expensive hotels, so the location and the price...More
So my friend and I decided to stay at this so-called "beach club". We arrived Thursday and left today on Monday. As we arrive we realize the beach is across the street, we avoided the pool because it looked dirty. We get into our room...More
My husband Joe and I stayed here for 6 days. This was my first time in Aruba and it was amazing. We were in the center of everything which I loved. You can walk to so many restaurants, casinos and the beach. I'd like to give...More
The staff was quite good in the customer service from allowing early to being really engaging like Kelly at the pool bar. However my first room smelled of mold and I then realized in the middle of the night that my new room had roaches....More
We had a great time at the hotel! Rochelle was very helpful with all booking needs of tours and request. The rooms were outdated and the a/c leaked however you go on vacation to see the country/state not stay in the hotel. Prime location super...More

First off, this resort is not a resort or even a spa, it is a hotel! The bar is open on different nights. It is really loud dance music and sometimes is very crowded and sometimes it is just the regulars. Sopranos is a good live music bar and a landmark, so that is a must see. There is a Senior Frogs right around the corner, as well as another club like bar across the street. All in all, this is a great area to hang out in. Also, there are casinos in all of the hotels around that area and as long as you are playing the penny slots you can drink for free so that's a good way to start the night off. The local hot spot is called Salt and Pepper. It is just a bar but has the history and a great staff. If you bring a salt or pepper shaker with you from wherever you are from they will display it with the rest of the tourists that have brought them. The frozen Mojitos are awesome! Lastly, there is a bar that is out on the end of a pier over near the RIU resort that has live music at night and it was really fun! Aruba is VERY expensive so try and eat dinners with the early bird specials. They offer them everywhere. They have happy hour for drinks as well from 5-7 I believe. Enjoy your trip!!!! Its gorgeous!!!!

If you are a guest at the Brickell hotel there are few lounges free but in the same area you can find Marcel Sports (Saundra is the owner) where you can rent umbrella and lounges and be comfortable. At Eagle beach you can also rent but as it is a public beach without hotels on the beach I´m not sure how is the serevice there.
