Coming to Aruba, we decided to do an Airbnb for most of the trip. We spent the last night at the Radisson Blu and were amazed by how great the hotel was. Since we had a pretty busy schedule, we didn’t need an all-inclusive resort. Huge pros: - Lots of room for a great rate - Beautiful pool - Great furnishings - Modern minimal style design and layout - Tile floors (much better than carpet) - Great balcony - Welcoming staff - Huge beautiful windows - Quality bedding Small Issues/notes: - Shower temperature was hard to set - Shampoo dispensers were difficult to press - Toilet flush required a long push - Balcony door wouldn’t close (fine for us but probably not for the electricity bill) - About a 5-10 minute walk to the beachfront (not a big deal) The Radisson Blu provided the perfect amount of luxury for us! Though we were only a couple, we had two bedrooms and the nightly rate was cheaper than most hotels in the area. It wasn’t necessary, but we appreciated the extra room (I think it used to be a residence which is why there are only two and three bedrooms). The room was very modern in design and furnishings, it had a great kitchen area (though the appliances were out of order), and a beautiful balcony that overlooked the area. There was a main pool and an infinity pool, a nice fitness area, and really friendly staff. Everything was sufficient for what we were looking for. If you are coming with your family or a slightly bigger group, you really can’t beat the Radisson Blu!

Excellent rooftop sunset view from Sunset Bistro. Otherwise forget it. $1. chicken wings are tiny winglets. Waiter didn’t understand enough English to be a waiter. He brought us 3 entrees for two people. He screwed up 2 espresso 1 sambuca order bringing 1 of each then when told we were 1 espresso short he brought another of each. He also spilled a water glass all over our table and five minutes later did it again to the table next to us. He charged us for the 3 entrees and 4 espressos and when bringing bill made sure to remind me that the 18 1/2% service charge is not his tip.

Dear Mr. Alan, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent visit at our rooftop Sunset Bistro. I would like to take a moment and apologize for the experience you had at our rooftop restaurant. It is my desire that all guests have a pleasant time with us, from the moment they arrive until the moment they depart, and I'm sorry to hear that this was not the case. I did personally look into this incident with my F&B department to ensure that this is taken care of and does not happen again in the future. Rest assured this does not represent the authentic Aruban hospitality we strive for each of our guests’ experiences. It would be my pleasure to welcome you back again and change your overall perception of us around, we will take care of your appetizer and your dessert. I encourage you to send me an e-mail at luigi.wix@radissonbluaruba.com with your date that you would want to visit back and we will have the table ready for you. Sunny Regards, Luigi Wix General Manager

BUYER BEWARE. Priceline advertises that this property has amenities they do not and then make it impossible to cancel. I have made 5 phone calls and been hung up on twice to cancel a reservation for a property. Priceline falsely advertised this hotel as having a beach... No beach to be found. Feel free to cancel and refund immediately: Trip Number: 437-204-233-38

Very new hotel, ultra clean and excellent service. Spacious rooms, European boutique feel. Our 2 Bedroom had a king bed in one room and 2 twins in the other room. We also had 2 bathrooms with a nice shower (no tubs). Fabulous pool areas…both of them! Cute shuttle bus will take you to the Moomba beach area (30-second drive), where you can take advantage of the complimentary loungers/umbrellas. Bar & small restaurant with great options.

We got a 2-bedroom oceanview suite. The place was perfect. After swimming and long walks, I went straight to sleep and slept like a baby. My elderly parents, who are very picky, absolutely loved this place, too. We will definitely be booking this hotel again should we and/or one of our other family members choose to visit Aruba. The only thing I could suggest is that they have a few more staff members at the front desk, as many times we would ring them for something and there would be no answer and/or requested toiletries would come very late. We still loved our stay!
