Having used Trip Advisor to a great extent to plan my holiday the Tamarijn I had to follow up with a review given that there are some ridiculously poor reviews on here. I agree with P C that Patti must have posted about the wrong hotel! If people get annoyed about small little issues they shouldn't leave the house. Anyway,...

Having just returned from the tamarijn after 2 weeks with my husband and son (8 months) I was shocked to read some of the recent reviews and wonder if we actually stayed at the same place. We had a private taxi to transfer us from the airport to the hotel and check in was really quick and hassle free. we...

Just returned on May 12th, 2012 from this resort. It was fabulous. The beach is beautiful, the room was great and the food was excellent. I'm not sure where the bad reviews come from for this resort but they are definitely not true. Loved the Asian restaurant. The staff at the resort were very nice and friendly. I'm getting ready...

I want to provide the most honest review of this resort possible as of May 9, 2012.. This is how upset I am. I do not often review properties but this one I must. This resort was all booked on recommedation of a popular caribbean travel site. We had never traveled to Aruba. Besides the fact that I booked 7...

We stayed 2 weeks in the Tamarijn in July 2011 with a family of four (couple with kids aged 6 & 9 years old). The Hotel has a nice beach but overal we got more of a feeling that we were in a motel than in a hotel. Maybe this has something to do with one of the main roads...

In the last few years, we added at least one week a year at a Caribbean all inclusive to our travels just for the absolute convenience. Want a drink, get a drink. Want a snack, get a snack. We have never expected anything other than average for that convenience and price but we have been pleasantly surprised at most AI's....

This resort location has so much going for it, I am perplexed how some people can think the most noteworthy issue to bring to travellers attention are a range of tiny, picky grumbles. To overlook its many strengths, for me, is not only imbalanced, but just plain misleading. I will attempt to go through some of the many strengths in...

Just got back from 5 days in Aruba. We stayed at The Tamarijn for the first night and then switched to the Divi All Inclusive! We were in a newly renovated roomat the Tam but the first night had to call housekeeping because we had a swarm of flying ants inside our room. Then when we took a shower and...

We stayed at the Tamarijn from May 1-May 7. This was our first trip to Aruba and we were AMAZED by the beaches and the crystal clear water! I have stayed at All-Inclusives in different parts of Dominican Republic as well as Jamaica prior to this trip, and as with any of them, nothing is EVER "Perfect". The Beach- Long...
