Good first impression, friendly reception. Room was spacious and comfortable with view of landing and takeoff of aircraft from VC Bird airport. Great authentic Chinese restaurant short distance away. Sound of airplanes not really an issue.. Except...... Loud music from someone nearby till wee hours of Saturday morning. Not hotel managers fault as he would not have any control over...

My boyfriend and I was book for four days. When we got there we were not happy because of the landscaping, that was been done. we sat in the car for several minutes because we didn't wanted to stay. we then approach the manager /owner and voice or concern. He assured us that's temporary. He told us to go visit...

A friend recommended The Wind Chimes Inn, and although I hadn't arranged a reservation before I arrived, I was made welcome and given accommodation in a clean, spacious room. The hotel is situated opposite an airstrip, but after being startled once I honestly wasn't bothered by it after that. Everything was supplied for a comfortable stay- an ironing board with...

We stayed here for a night because we didn't trust a tight connection. The hotel is only a short distance from the airport and cost $8 in a taxi. All the staff were very friendly and gave us advice on where to eat and booked a taxi for us. Our bags were carried up to our room on the first...

The Wind Chimes Inn is 5 minutes from the airport. A taxi to the inn costs $8 US. The inn is actually a B and B. There is no restaurant. We had a second floor room with a balcony overlooking the end of the runway. The balcony had a small table and two chairs. The room had a queen sized...

The manager Collin Noel, was extremely friendly and accommodating upon my arrival. My onward flight to Dominica was not until early the following morning so really only needed somewhere to rest my head for the night, but was pleasantly surprised. The fact that its proximity was so close to the airport was not a deterrent as after a long flight...

To say that this small hotel opposite the runway is other than basic is stretching reality. It is,however, clean enough & listening to a large jet 100 yards away is to experience the enormous power one normally is barely aware of as a passenger. Flights do stop at night! I would have thought the ground floor rooms noisy & gloomy...

On arrival in Antigua we found SVG had failed to inform us of a change in our onward flight time to Barbuda leaving us stranded for the night. SVG therefore found rooms for the night for our group (two couples). We were tired after a long journey and not really concerned about the location of the Hotel, we went for...

I was visiting Antigua for one night and thought I would rather stay close the airport for such a short stay. Wind Chimes was actually recommended by a friend and taking his word, I booked. I must say that the place is exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet. I really did not expect such a wonderful spacious room for the $100...

I booked this hotel as I had to stay overnight in Antigua due to flight changes. I chose it because other travellers said it was close to the airport and I thought that would be fine as I was only staying overnight. I was in room 6. The hotel is just 2 floors but with external stairs so if you...
