This was on of the best if not the best stay ever. (We travel international twice a year for over 10 years) Our Ambassadors Daryl & Kenya were outstanding - always anticipated our needs. Julio at the beach is very hard and genuine worker - his absence on his day off was clearly felt! Kiev is well spoken and mannered server and the Lighthouse restaurant. Lorenzo and Erick were quite helpful as well. Areas of improvement: The beach is ok, but service and villas clearly make it worth. The drinks (including ice coffee) were too heavy on sugar for us, so we had to have them redone several times. I would recommend for the hotel to partner with a different car rental vendor. Our car was functioning good, but it was quite worn off and dirty on the inside. Also it had a staggering 165,000 km on the odometer. I would not mind paying a bit more for a cleaner / newer car. My husband and I stayed for a week at Hammock Cove Antigua for our honeymoon and had an exceptional time. The service from the entire staff was top notch, and the amenities were just fantastic. We enjoyed lounging on the beach for hours, walking to the Devil's bridge, which we could see right from our room, and enjoying many delicious meals at the resort. Hammock Cove followed all COVID-19 guidelines to a T, we felt incredibly safe and that the resort was incredibly well kept during our time there. We cannot recommend Hammock Cove enough - the location, amenities, service...all absolutely amazing. Very impressed! I'm a little late writing this review. Our experience was nothing other than perfect. What a resort, what an experience, just WOW. We've been all over the Caribbean, to many all-inclusive resorts, as well as non all-inclusive, and I have to say that this one tops them all. From the moment we stepped on the property we felt pampered and at home. Sheldon greeted us and took care of us all week. Lorenzo was EVERYWHERE making sure that all food and beverage was handled with utmost care. And, Julio. Oh my gosh, Julio. What a sweetheart and hard worker. It didn't matter how busy he was, he always had a smile on his face and literally RAN to take care of every guest. Marvin with his sweet expressions always made me smile, stopping his golf cart when he saw us to say Hi and check on us. The rooms are beyond compare. We loved being able to go back and forth between the beach for lunch and lounging on our terrace pool for privacy. It really is the best of both worlds. Margaret was always available to answer our questions and help us get booked for Calypso Cat and spa treatments. Rosario, Resort Manager, was so humble and went the extra mile to be sure we were taken care of and that everything was just perfect. It's not often that you have a resort manager so accessible and right in the middle of everything. She really made us feel welcome and want to return (which we will!) We had fun in the rum bar with our friends, tasting different varieties and also enjoyed the bar at the Lighthouse. Breakfast at Irina's was the perfect way to start the day. Always a smile and the most delightful cappuccino ever! It was hard to leave after 7 days, we will stay longer next time. If you are looking for the perfect place to relax and unwind, this was it. What a fantastic place Hammock Cove is , such welcoming staff who showed us round the resort... well recommend for couples , adult only so peaceful! Great way to end the year and what a year so we were thankful we found Hammock Cove. You can be as private as you want here your villa has its own infinity pool, sun loungers bar and what a bar from wines to beers, soft drinks to any spirit you can think of and also water. The spacious room, with an enormous double showered bathroom , to the king size bed with white cotton sheets! Soo welcoming after a day out either by the beach on excursions, which the fantastic Margaret can arrange for you! Breakfast and lunch at Irines , where the lovely staff consisting of Voneta, Nicole and Gabriel look after your needs. Dinner is a must at the lighthouse where Troy and his sommelier Silvi along with his team look after you. Along with a full equipped games room Not forgetting the fabulous boys on the beach whom keep you watered all day long with water/ soft drinks/ beer and famous island rum punch! Arrange the water sports from paddle boards to kayaks to sailing you round the bay in the hobies Juelio and his colleagues Eric and Hudson kept us entertained fed and water ! My fiancé and I were looking for a place to stay in Antigua and stayed in two different resorts during our trip. Hammock cove was by far our favorite resort we have ever stayed at (and we travel very often). The staff had the best service I’ve ever come across. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and some of the kindest people (Sheldon, Hudson, Mark, Julio, Alex, Lorenzo were a few of the staff members who’s names we remember and for a reason, because they were great!)! However everyone who worked there was truly amazing. We will most definitely be coming back to Hammock Cove in the future. The rooms with the pool and ocean views were stunning, the food was great, wonderful drinks, amazing service, great ambiance, cute decor, cleanliness was top notch, and overall just a very enjoyable place.
