Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

New caretaker's and owners are awful. This used to be a great place. However, it has gone down hill the last few months. Road is full of potholes, new rules have caused half of the campers to leave, big pile of garbage behind the work shed is unsightly and gross. Do not recommend!!!!

We came to CMR as we have some things to do in the pass this week. It calls for rain throughout the week and it’s getting chilly so we didn’t want to camp but it’s nice to choose a cabin over a hotel. We were greeted and directed to our cabin as if we were staying at a family cabin! Very laid back people running the place and friendly. The cabins are equipped with everything we need including a BBQ on the porch. Our cabin is clean and cozy with privacy and beautiful surroundings! We’re very impressed our first day and excited for the rest of our stay!

Stayed in one of the cabins this past weekend and it was fantastic. Nice and clean, and it was a perfect size for my wife and I. Met up with some friends that have a trailer in the RV area and we had a fantastic trip. Other campers came by and it was a great meeting place for all ages. We will be going back. Quading was also fantastic, and we left right from the campground, but insure you have a licence on your ATV and insurance as we were checked. Lots of deer walking through and we even saw 3 wild turkeys that hung around the cabin.

Beautiful place for a short or long stay. Stayed 2nights in cabin 4, which was clean and comfortable. Fully self contained and we found quite private. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place to every one.

Wow, what am amazing place to stay for a Christmas getaway! We rented cabin 2 with our dogs, it was extremely cold so we didn’t get out to hike with them as much as we wanted. The cabin was a perfect place to be holed up on a cold winters day. We made homemade soup wth the supplied pots and pans on the hot plate. That thing is awesome! It heats up quick and cools down to a simmer easily. The sattilite TV made for some great movie watching. One day I did go have a Qi session with Martha. That was relaxation at its finest. I looked like a new woman afterwards, and felt zen all day. It is something I’d definitely do again. Martha, George and Wolfgang are all so friendly and made us feel at home. We will return!

My best friend chose this place for all of us to stay while we attended her wedding. The cabin I stayed in was clean, cozy and perfect. Wolfgang made sure we were more than welcome, and the view was amazing. I will be going back for mini vacations in the future.

What a beautiful place. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The TV would not work but the management gave us a discount on the rate. Warm and cozy, even though it was blistering cold outside. Lovely staff and would stay there again.

Warning! Drunk obnoxious neighbours! Don't expect any peace and quiet or so get to sleep before 2:00 am when they pass out!! Owners aren't interested in respecting other campers right to enjoy rv spot in peace. Do not use on long weekends!

Kept calling to make a reservation. We'd leave messages and they would never return our calls. Then, we went there and nobody was there. Returned and hour later and complained about them not returning calls and they told us the number we were using (which is on their website and posted on their door) is the wrong number. Got to the cabin and found out we needed to boil our water -- there's no potable water. It wasn't a huge deal, but they didn't tell us that. That said, the cabin was nice, hot-tub was pleasant, and so on.
