We had only a short stay at La Bastide. It is set in a remote little vineyard, far from everything. A nice B&B with friendly owners. Our room, the Chambre Ste Victoire, was nicely done but VERY small, not much room for our luggage, although there was a nice view out the window. There is a common sitting area upstairs...

As we'd hoped, this is a very traditional French chambre d'hotes in the heart of the lovely Luberon region. Sandrine and Philippe are very welcoming and really enjoy hosting the home-cooked feasts they serve outdoors. St Victoire room is the smallest, so although it looks nice in pictures we would probably choose another one next time.

This is how a B&B should be run - the warm welcome from Sandrine, useful local knowledge from Phillippe and the food was AMAZING home-cooked food - just what we needed during our travels around France. We travelled with two young children (18 months & 4 y-o) and they can be fussy to feed at times - we were delighted...

Wonderful friendly hospitality from Sandrine and Philippe at this luxurious rural B & B. Good sized rooms with every comfort and plenty of room to relax inside or on the terrace or by the beautiful pool. The food was exceptional, with home-cooked and local produce. Can't recommend it enough!

We visited the Provence 23 years ago and have been wanting to visit it again but never made it and always ended up going elsewhere. Finally, we made it and after checking so many Bed & Breakfast places, we have decided to stay with Bastide St. Victor and have never regretted it even for one moment. Every morning, we would...

After having stayed several times in a B&B in the "pays de Vaucluse" (near to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue) we decided for a change and were lucky to have found ther Bastide St Victor. The title of this review summarises our experience here. Despite a week of strong mistral winds, we really enjoyed our stay with the Gauvadan family. There hospitality is absolutely...

It's only a few minutes form a gorgeous town Lourmain and easy to travel by car to other surrounding villages. Phillipes mother told us in...

The best thing about this place is it is very cut off from anything urban... In fact, it wasn't showing up on our GPS. The property is set within acres and acres of farmland, full of grazing animals, grapes and cherries. Lavender was beginning to bloom all around... And this was exactly what we were looking for ! We stayed...

The owners of this b&b are really charming and welcoming. We felt at home and at ease in their company. They were very helpful, present when we needed them and discreet otherwise. The b&b (which can also be rented out as a whole for the summer, sleeps 13) is separate to their home, but connected by an adjoining door through...

This was our second visit to Bastide St Victor in two years, last year we stayed only a few days but this year we decided to spend all our holidays in the lovely surroundings of this magnificent location. Their welcome was incredible, the food was outstanding and the location was dreamy. We will be back next year. Pascale and Philip.
