Hidden minutes from the motorway you are in a different place.... the welcome is friendly and the house amazing. We have stayed many times over the last 3 years and will do so again. The furnishings are traditional and whilst some may find it dated, it is extremely clean and functional. Technology is not high on the list, however given...

stayed for only one night while attending wedding locally, rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. location very quiet and picturesque and the breakfast was good but not over adequate. would be a really good location for anyone wanting good homely location and peace and quiet. only a very small bar with limited range which i would imagine opens on demand.

Only a one night stop while in the South Wales/Bristol area but would happily have stayed longer. Plenty of space for the two of us in the family room, nice clean bathroom and a very good breakfast. At a very reasonable price, so what's not to like!

We arrived at this beautiful country house looking like a pair of drowned rats but the very helpful and welcoming owner immediately took our wet clothes to dry them out. We were shown to a very comfortable and well-equipped large room and asked when we would like breakfast as we could have it at any reasonable time - other BB...

We returned to stay in The Brick House after a four year absence and were just as pleased with everything as before. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean. There is a lovely country feel to the decor. We got a warm friendly welcome from Roger and had a lovely breakfast. We'll be back again.

A wonderful find off the Wales Coast Path, impeccably clean, beautifully and comfortably furnished. A wonderful respite after a day of trekking. The tub alone for a much needed soak was worth the stay but there was more, a delicious and generous breakfast, spectacular garden and grounds and friendly hosts.

We arrived a bedraggled group; 2 muddy walkers and their very muddy dogs. This was an overnight stop on the Welsh coast path. The utility room was set up with water and a bed for the dogs. Our room was beautiful. It would have been nice to have biscuits or similar on our arrival but there were some chocolate eclairs...
