My daughter and me had a fantastic time on Malta and it was the best decision to stay at The Burrow. The family with the five wonderful children was incredibly hospitable and the house is a piece of jewelry. You can reach easily every part of the Island by bus and visit the Tarxien Temple by foot. We really felt...

We enjoyed our time in Burrow. The house is really beautiful and it was nice to stay with a family. The breakfast was simple but good quality. The location is good - it's situated in quieter Tarxien close to the Hypogeum and Tarxien temples and a short bus ride from Valletta. It's also very close to the airport. It was...

If you want to know how Maltese are, you certainly never forgot your stay at The Burrow. Very good family, funny girls, you'll feel like at home, or even better ! Very few kilometers from Valletta, Rabat, you'll enjoy the real Malta experience.

Right from the beginning let me say that some travelers might not have the problems we did, or be bothered by them. But what we read by other residents of this B&B did not match our experience. W called B&B from airport as Chira had suggested and she said she’d be there in 15min. After 45 min, nothing. Then a...

Dear Jim, Thank you for taking time to review us. I am very sorry to hear that your experience with us was not what you expected. We try to make our potential guests aware that we are a hosting family and it is clear in all our reviews that we do have our own children and also that guests with...

A beautiful house, great potential but unfortunately we did not enjoyed it because of obvious humidity and dumpy smell (in general it is a problem during the winter season in the southern countries). Maybe winter "blues" was also a reason for an unconvincing hospitality and lack of details from the landlord's side... we felt more as trouble of a big...

Out of season so I was the only guest that night but treated as a visiting cousin, dinner with the family, very casual/relaxed, almost thought I was going to be asked to read bedtime stories (!) but great chat over home-made wine (included with dinner) with the hosts. Building: tremendous conversion of ancient "burrow" retaining original feel, cubby-holes to explore,...

We should have stayed longer. Four days in the company of Chiara, Frank and five lively, inquisitive family certainly completed our holiday. We had our own space but a genuine opportunity sit down over dinner and talk to family and guests, learn about Malta, share tales of where we went, where to go and how to get there. And in...

The Burrow at Tarxien, Malta belongs very well to the complete isle. A wonderful old house, lovely restored and a nice result between old and new. Dinner together with the family is the best way, learning english again! (so, I should better fly back again) The people of Malta - especially Chiara, Frank and their kids - are very friendly...

I would go back tomorrow if I could! Cozy, classy and clean rooms, extensive breakfast, family dinner if desired. Privacy and quiet in spite of the whirling doings of a wonderfully adaptive and engaging family with separate quarter. The place exudes quality in every direction. I loved that it is in a small town, with access to everywhere. No need...

Very nice, authentic, old and beautiful B&B. About 450 years old. Very kind and helpful people who run this... They really treat you as being part of their family. Clean and modern facilities. Just a few km's located from Valletta old town. BR, Stephan & Sander
