Had a fantastic stay at Tudor Cottage over Easter. I was curious to see a place that had all five stars from other reviews and I tell you what - the place is fantastic and is absolutely true to what other reviewers say. Although our room's bathroom was private but not ensuit, I havent seen anyone else on the corridor... More

With all the talk of the terrible floods in Somerset, this place is definitely open and we are really glad that we stayed. Unfortunately it was only one night, but an ideal setting, peaceful countryside and excellent hosts. Thank you. Ken & Caroline

Thank you both so much for taking the time to review us. We are glad you enjoyed your short visit and hope to see you again sometime, maybe for a little longer next time. Thank you for mentioning that we are open as usual for business. Although the floods did not affect Exmoor National park at all the businesses around... More

What a great weekend! Anne and Ash were lovely, welcoming hosts who gave very good advice on local walks and eateries. The breakfast was smashing, local meat and free-range eggs, and cooked exactly as requested (excellent crispy bacon!). The room was comfortable, with a wee mini bar and tea and flapjacks. A really great B&B and definitely recommended! Only a... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. The guest lounge is only small as we are a "cottage" but tends only to be used for the welcome tea or coffee. Your bed is a very new mattress but as you say it is personal choice and... More

We had a lovely reception upon arrival from Ann and Ash. We stayed for two nights in Selworthy. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for our hosts. The accommodation was first class, beautifully presented, immaculate but at the same time very homely. Breakfast was delicious, even down to home made bread for the toast. Lovely village setting and great... More

We had a wonderful three days at Tudor cottage, Ann and Ash were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The room ( luccombe ) was lovely as was the private bathroom, just a few steps from the room. The famous breakfast was fantastic, really set you up for the day. We really felt like this was home from... More

We stayed here for our anniversary and we are so glad that we chose this B&B. Set in a pretty location, that is great for walks straight from the doorstep, it looked lovely on approach and very welcoming. You can spot the little touches as soon as you walk through the door, and we felt really at home thanks to... More

Had a truly wonderful stay at Tudor Cottage. Ann and Ash ensured we were made welcome and all the finishing touches in the room made our stay extra special. The location was breathtaking and after beautiful walks in the surrounding villages Ann and Ash served us with home made scones and tea in their beautiful garden.. The breakfast served in... More

I hate to be a spoilsport but we stayed and didn't think it deserved the score on here which was predominantly why we selected it. It was ok. But not the five star experience suggested by the reviews on here. Arrival is warm but you are asked to leave your bags at the 'Mr Ben's' back door... which then get... More

It is very difficult to respond to your review as it is so upsetting, so I will just stick to the facts. Every thing we do is done for a reason, the sign for not eating food in the room is because someone had a picnic on a brand new super king quilt cover and ruined it. As you say... More
