A great owl and owl day experience and 2 lovely night's b&b. Lunch and cream tea included was a real bonus. Rooms were quirky and very clean. Welcome, breakfast and overall atmosphere great. Hope to go again.

Added a long weekend at this lovely farm after a hectic business trip and it was wonderful! Easy train, bus and taxi connections to a peaceful and romantic setting. The 600+ year old home was furnished as a cozy bed and breakfast. I had a spectacular view of the mountains from my window, a private bath and shared a warm...

Thank you for your great review Kelly. We look forward to your next visit so we can explore the hills we did not have time to visit! - Cathy

I visited with a friend in mid-September for half a day's horse riding. I was drawn to Cathy's approach to horse management and riding, with her emphasis on holistic care, and bit-less, tree-less, shoe-less riding. We went out on Dandy and Sirrus and were escorted by Hailey, who rode Archie. Hailey was a lovely escort, happy to chat and she's...

We are very sad you felt the need to write such comments, especially when we feel that they are not accurate. We are very sorry that you were not happy with your accommodation, as it is always our desire for people to come and enjoy this historic old 15th century grade 2 listed building and the lovely surrounding countryside. A great place hosted by lovely people who are passionate about their animals. I wanted a weekend of activity to escape from real life. Spent it doing 2 half day horse rides over Exmoor and a full day birds of prey experience where I got to handle birds and learn a bit more about them. During my spare time I...

My wife bought me a days' bird experience for my birthday and we had a wonderful time. We were lucky enough to be there on a quiet day so had the undivided attention of the staff. Rob is very knowledgeable (and passionate) about his birds; getting so close to birds you normally see from a distance is an unforgettable experience.

I contacted Cathy at the centre regarding a birthday present for my partner and she couldn't have been more helpful and quick to respond. I booked a half day bird flying experience and one night B+B. It took a while for us to get round to setting a date but when the time came again Cathy was super quick to...

My daughter had a full day with Catherine and thoroughly enjoyed it. Worth every penny. She was beaming from ear to ear for a few hours afterwards. Catherine ran a one to one workshop on connecting with the horses, passing on her knowledge and secrets followed by a ride over fantastic countryside in the afternoon. Highly recommend.

A three day horse-riding weekend. Totally wonderful experience, from the moment I arrived. Cathy and Hailey run a welcoming and friendly stable. Both are generous with their time and riders and horses have fun. Have already booked my next visit! I didn't stay at the accommodation on this visit...it was fully booked, but I plan to when I return.

My Sister, her 12 year old daughter and I spent the day here. In the morning Rod kitted us out with a glove and bag to hold food, he then brought a tawny owl called Tinker to the barn, who flew back and forth between us for a tidbit of food. Then we met Thistle; a barn owl. We moved...
