We have just returned from a week of sheer enjoyment. The hotel is set in a scenic location, close to amazing countryside walks. We chose this hotel as an 'away from it all' break to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had planned to visit four notable ancient sites and explore the countryside on foot. We hired the services of a local...

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in this delightful "hidden gem". This small but perfectly formed hideaway made for a unique holiday. The food, staff and room were all wonderful, and I particularly enjoyed the variety of dishes at dinner, supplemented by afternoon tea. The hotel offered the perfect base for walking, visiting beaches, and exploring the local area....

We feel honored to have experienced this 'Shangri-La' over looking Turkey's Turquoise Coast. Ghislain and Ayse and staff were friendly, professional and generous in every way - from wonderful hikes to low key boat rides with Captain Nail. It was the perfect place for us to enjoy the gorgeous natural surroundings and all it has to offer without the buzz...

With only 8 rooms you are given a lot of attention. Special weeks are planned for cooking school or for long hikes. The setting is amazing and reminds us of France. Breakfast was fantastic with local honey and pastries. Afternoon tea is served with a sweet and savory treat. Beautiful pool. Complete with the sound of local goats and chickens...

Another wonderful three days sojourn at this splendid hotel. We were confident that the same standards of care had been maintained since our first visit in April 2012 and we were not disappointed. Room sumptuous, food mouth-wateringly brilliant, and staff so friendly, caring, and efficient. We arrived after a tour with Cachet Travel encompassing Istanbul (2 days) Cappadocia (3 days)...

We looked for something that was small, quiet, relaxing and informal. This hotel does exactly that!. You cannot fault the attentiveness of the staff. A couple of small points that could be improved are the speed at which different dinner courses are served and the tables being cleared very quickly left us feeling a little rushed. Once dinner was over...

I knew ahead of time that 2 nights would not suffice at Villa Mandarin... Alas, we were able to stretch it to 3... and every minute was just wonderful! We had been traveling around the country for over a week with our family of 5 and this was our first opportunity to slow down and smell the roses (literally -...

We ate at this hotel restaurant in August 2014 and it was a highlight of the holiday. The setting is beautiful, the staff warm and friendly, the food fresh and interesting, and the whole experience just fabulous. Highly recommend a visit to eat there, even if you are not staying at the hotel.

we are Just back home from an 8 night stay at the Mandarin & all that needs to be said is that the numerous positive reviews on here are completely correct...... it really is somewhere very special. Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Mandarin for 2 weeks at the end of July/beginning of August. Our requirements were thus: No children, No noise, No reserving towels at 6:30am, No 'Happy Hour' mayhem, no queues, no rush. We wanted peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings, good weather, easy to get to a beach or a bit of 'liveliness' should...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An unspoilt setting, luxurious surroundings and a warm, personal welcome... Opened in the summer of 2007, Mandarin is a delightful boutique hotel situated in an unspoilt natural setting close to south-west Turkey's magnificent Turquoise Coast. Perfect for nature lovers who also value a touch of luxury and a high level of personal service, Mandarin has been designed as a stylish and supremely comfortable hideaway, which nevertheless boasts a pleasantly informal atmosphere without any hint of stuffiness or pretension. Mandarin comprises just eight guestrooms and thus offers a very intimate ambience, making it the perfect venue for a small group to rent for a special celebration, club event or even a business meeting. However, the hotel is equally suited to romantic couples and guests wishing to stay in unspoilt surroundings, relax in unperturbed peace and perhaps indulge in a few nature-based activities. Please note that, to maintain its air of tranquillity, Mandarin operates a no-children policy (with the exception of group bookings renting the hotel in its entirety). ...introducing one of Turkey's most exclusive retreats ... more   less
