What a magnificent place recommended to all. The place is magical, quiet, do nothing all day long or do something everyday. Been there with the family, been there with husband and also with other couples. It's just the place to RELAX!

We stayed in a beach front room with our two boys, although it was small it was nice clean and comfy, with a Beautiful view. Breakfast was great every morning toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, muffins, pancakes, juice tea and coffee. Activities are great one of my boys did a dive intro in the pool at the resort for free....

First things first, we chose a time of year that offered lower than normal prices, off peak off season, rates are good but you are taking a big risk travelling to the Cook Islands in the January February period as this is rainy season and when it rains and it can do for days there is not much to do...

We wanted to tick off Raro off our list. We didn't have a great deal of time for our winter escape this year, so I booked some cheap flights and then looked for accomodation. I read many reviews and decided on the Rarotongan as I thought.. Based on the Reviews it can't be that bad. Unfortunately it was. It started...

We chose to book The Rarotongan for eight nights back in March 2016 for our upcoming family holiday in January 2017. I started to become a little concerned following the TripAdvisor reviews I was reading, as they were getting worse and worse over the course of late 2016. Unfortunately my concerns became a reality once we arrived at The Rarotongan....

The accommodation ruined our stay on Rarotonga. Here's a edited snippet of we sent to our travel agent after returning home. Lack of room servicing - this was reported to management several times with little/no response. Not following through with agreed remedial actions was a big issue here. When issues were raised, they were either partially resolved or not resolved...

We really enjoyed our 13 day stay at The Rarotongan. We had a Garden view room which housekeeping cleaned every day. Beach is amazing. Kids loved the pool and Moko Kids club was fantastic, they loved going there, thanks to Leticia, Emily & Miri . Staff at Activies were great, thanks to Mahriah & Francis for teaching us How to...

I had read alot of reviews prior to staying at The Rarotongan, some of them were very unfavourable and I was starting to doubt whether this was the right choice for us. I'm so glad I didn't change to somewhere else. The Rarotongan was an exceptional place for a family holiday. The resort has everything you possibly need and is...

I noticed that the Rarotongan has had a lot of bad reviews recently, which I do not feel are justified especially the 1 star reviews (if you want to read about a truly 1 star place, check out the reviews for the portland pensione). I traveled there with my wife a 7 month old child in January 2017 and we...

They don't advertise themselves as being a 5 star luxury resort, so don't expect to get the royal treatment. I personally enjoyed my weekend here! I got what I paid for....or even more! Apart from the run-down Edgewater Resort, or the expensive Pacific Resort, I can't think of any other place where you'll find the most amenities than here at...
