We intended to stay only one night but found the town and its people charming so stayed on longer. The campground is family run and since they have been there it's obvious how much they have improved the amenities. Nothing is too much trouble for Cherry and the other family members and they are very hospitable. They are new to...

This holiday park is not very big and therefore nice and quite. We stayed in one of the cabins and they were clean with good supplies, like linen, cutlery, small kitchenette, water boiler etc etc. In the main building there are the toilets and more cooking facilities. From our cabin we had a great view of the bay.

Stayed here in a campervan - powered sites ideally located by pool and amenities with an awesome view. It's a lovely leafy site with pitches nicely divided by vegetation and a variety of cabins too. The family who run the site are so helpful and friendly, and are evidently making improvements all over the site, but what facilities there are...

We spent our first night in NZ here. Our first experience with a holiday park. We were pleasant surprised to find a full service kitchen with range, microwaves, refrigerators, sinks, limited amounts of dishware, silverware and cooking utensils. Plenty of seating for about 15 people. Everything was clean and well kept. The showers were hot and refreshing.

Beautiful location with amazing views. Very friendly people. Camped amongst the trees with great views of Hokianga harbour and waking up to tuis singing. You get a spectacular sunset even on a cloudy day.

Did a 10 day camping road trip up north and stopped in here for 2 nights. The shower block was always clean and tidy, and the communal kitchen had utensils, pots, pans, plates and cutlery to use. There was a laundry for use, for a minimal $4 a cycle, great for longer stays. The good size swimming pool was great...

We stayed here for 2 nights on our motorhome tour of NZ. There are lovely view over the harbour. The facilities were clean if quite basic. The manager is lovely and friendly as he resident cat! There is a small swimming pool , which was freezing when we were there. We would certainly recommend this site for like minded travellers

We parked up our 5th wheeler in one of the powered sites overlooking the most lovely harbour. The lovely friendly family running the park made you feel very welcome and invited us to a pizza night. Wood fired pizzas yummo. All facilities were very clean. Nice pool and gardens Wonderful place to relax and chill out. Would definitely return and...

This park is on a hillside, with multiple quaintly shaped cabins on offer. We selected an optimal site for our van looking out over the water. The facilities were OK, if quite tired and rudimentary, while the resident very friendly cat was a delight. We met a great couple from Hamilton, who taught us the fundamentals of Maori pronunciation, providing...
